this was actuly a badass video i never really payed any attention to the srt 4 untill i started looking for a new car about a week ago i jus so happend to come across an srt 4 at a lot first one i had ever seen so i took it for a drive iv drivein the Evo X to its limit an i really do think that the srt 4 i was driveing moded out the ass was deffinatly way faster than the evo in a straight line i didnt buy it tho lookin for one with less miles now
i own an SRT-4 and love it i supped it up and it eats ferraris sti's and evos and lambos like nothing the SRT-4 is cheap and easy to supe and and be faster than 100000 dollar cars i spent 10000 on the car and 20000 on performance parts and i love this car so it beats any expensive sports car and i saved a ton of money :)

@bigwyte14 The SRT 4 beets it in price/bargain, beets it in horse power out put, and torque out put, but the fact that it is a simple race car means that it is not going to be able to stand against a car that the company just piled on mods to make fast. the SRT 4 for what it is is a much better car, its a car that you could afford with a minimum wage job and have some good fun and even take it to the next level with cheap mods. As far as im concerned the car has achieved its goal.
@875109725710 you are one dumb kid go look up the msrp for an srt 4 and then go look up the evo there is only about a 4000 dollar difference for a much better quality car and the srt puts out about 230 stock Horse power and the evo 290 stock horse power and you would need at least a stage 2 mopar kit on it just to keep up with the evo and plus your saying the srt 4 as reached its goal and what is that exactly because if there so good then why arnt they made any more can you tell me that ?
@bigwyte14 that fuckig evo is not fast, its quick and thats it. It runs a high 13 at 98 threw the traps, while the srt runs a low 14 at 106 mph threw the traps! 3 mph slower then the Viper ACR! All that evo is good for is 0-60 and it only achieves that threw AWD and tall gears which kills top end and power! that car is nothing special being that its the same 20 year old engine they kept upgrading to make faster. if it takes 20 years to make the evo you see today, im not even close to impressed.

It is NOT fast, take away its all wheel drive and tall gears its much slower, and even WITH the AWD its slow threw the traps. On the track the Evo is SHIT, it fails on the straights and many other areas were a top end is required. And i have seen a 770 hp SRT 4 rape z06s like there a Camry xD. Evos will never make 770HP >.>

Respect to these cars, I actually wanted and '05 ACR (05 I think?) in orange. I ended up getting a 2001 Bullitt with tune, intake, 3.90 ratio, short throw, etc... and while I love my V8 power, this car was done right and looks beast when setup just right! Props.
No offence, but I personaly think they are ugly. If they had different lights they would look tons better. I love the motors and all, but not the lights. Eyelids do make the fronts look heaps better, but the tail lights are ugly no matter what, they are just the wrong shape to me. 2:33 Looks awesome.

What a joke, half of the wrecks are probably caused by some dip shit who thought he was a good driver and hoped in a powerful car and away he went to a crash. These cars ARE race cars stock being that my uncle owned one and it can ran high 13s at the 1/4! most cars have trouble with 15s! Granted the wheel base makes the car some what of a boat but the car still handles.

@bigwyte14 The SRT 4 beets it in price/bargain, beets it in horse power out put, and torque out put, but the fact that it is a simple race car means that it is not going to be able to stand against a car that the company just piled on mods to make fast. the SRT 4 for what it is is a much better car, its a car that you could afford with a minimum wage job and have some good fun and even take it to the next level with cheap mods. As far as im concerned the car has achieved its goal.

@875109725710 you are one dumb kid go look up the msrp for an srt 4 and then go look up the evo there is only about a 4000 dollar difference for a much better quality car and the srt puts out about 230 stock Horse power and the evo 290 stock horse power and you would need at least a stage 2 mopar kit on it just to keep up with the evo and plus your saying the srt 4 as reached its goal and what is that exactly because if there so good then why arnt they made any more can you tell me that ?

@bigwyte14 that fuckig evo is not fast, its quick and thats it. It runs a high 13 at 98 threw the traps, while the srt runs a low 14 at 106 mph threw the traps! 3 mph slower then the Viper ACR! All that evo is good for is 0-60 and it only achieves that threw AWD and tall gears which kills top end and power! that car is nothing special being that its the same 20 year old engine they kept upgrading to make faster. if it takes 20 years to make the evo you see today, im not even close to impressed.

@875109725710 you have no clue what so ever evos have ran a 12.5 quarter mile at stock boost and the srt runs about a 14.4 quarter mile that is a big difference and you can only acheive some much power with an srt because there running FWD so no matter how much money you put in an srt it will never be able to beat an evo and plus you can ask any one you know shit just look it up on youtube and it will show and evo smoking an srt 4

@bigwyte14 Clearly you didn't pay attention to what i said, i just basically explained why the Evo only seems fast, the car is nothing special and is if anything, deceiving. It is NOT fast, take away its all wheel drive and tall gears its much slower, and even WITH the AWD its slow threw the traps. On the track the Evo is SHIT, it fails on the straights and many other areas were a top end is required. And i have seen a 770 hp SRT 4 rape z06s like there a Camry xD. Evos will never make 770HP >.>

2003 SRT-4 came with No lsd and made 215 whp stock baseline pulls...2004 and 2005 came with bigger injectors and LSD and made 230 whp stock baseline pulls on a dynojet. NOW THIS IS WHERE IT GETS SWEET ..MOPAR UPGRADE KITS..STAGE 2 WITH BOLTONS 280 WHP WITHOUT BREAKIN A SWEAT. THE MOPAR STAGE 3 KIT WITH A DSP MAKES 350 WHP. So Please know your facts before you post. I can bet my money that 9 out of every 10 SRT-4 on the streets today are pushing at least 280 WHP Thanks to the DSP 93 TUNE!!

Respect to these cars, I actually wanted and '05 ACR (05 I think?) in orange. I ended up getting a 2001 Bullitt with tune, intake, 3.90 ratio, short throw, etc... and while I love my V8 power, this car was done right and looks beast when setup just right! Props.

No offence, but I personaly think they are ugly. If they had different lights they would look tons better. I love the motors and all, but not the lights. Eyelids do make the fronts look heaps better, but the tail lights are ugly no matter what, they are just the wrong shape to me. 2:33 Looks awesome.

- they go GREAT in the snow... better than most other FWD cars due to a limited slip.
- they CRUSH overpriced rice for a MUCH cheaper price.
- with minor ca$h, they can take down ANY 'vette.
- STI owners - call me when your cat converter (one of 3!) takes out your turbo. Happens ALL the time. No thanks.
