@2LTime33 What would have been better if they left the original be, and just made a sequel to the original series. There was no real need to remake it a sequel would have made just as much impact and revenue.

I think remakes have their place, I think they should be used to bring films to a greater audience than they were originally. Films that were never given recognition or were poorly made. For example Peeping Tom, I wouldn't be against a remake of that, never got the credit it deserved.

Why show michael myers as a victim with a horrible family, being bullied with a stripper mom??

The reason the 1st film worked was because it was a shock that a child could do such a thing coming from a normal family. The fact that he killed his sister with no reason what so ever made it very chilling.

Rob Zombie has 1 view of the world = very violent, no empathy, women are whores, men are sex crazed and violent and the world basically is shit.
