  • whats the song in here?

  • such a waste of good wine

  • YOU MELTED GOLD!

  • Almost reminds me of Terminator 2 Guy that looked like liquid metal.

  • How do you get the fluid to go down the tube? Mine either goes around the outside or through it at a random time...

  • the water looks like fast moving goo cause of its thickness

  • Nice work on the glass, but the water looks too thick.

  • 2:14 you go into the fluid

  • exellent video

  • THE WATES IS A LITTLE TOO DARK

  • what's the song?

  • The materials look great! Check out my videos. They mostly just sshow me improving the materials of things like glass, icicles .etc

  • Cool ^.^ practica mas con la resolución del fluido y con las tomas ó ángulos de la cámara.

  • the water stuck to the table, its like it froze when it hit the table, and your glass looks like ice

  • the initial rendering of the glass wasn't bad, and the wood seemed realistic, I noticed some HDRI environment mapping? but the fluids are not so good :/ in both simulation and rendering, I'd suggest going for a most powerfull product on the 3D market like 3DS MAX, vray + 3DS MAX = w/e you want to simulate fluid with are powerful combinations, work on your camera movements, they were a little choppy.

Blender I know has allot of pre-set materials and settings so, 3/10 is my personal rating.

  • Absolutely no need for 3DMax or Vray, Is not about the program, He's just a beginer... Blender has an excelente Fluid Simulation System.

  • Where do you find these pre-set materials?

  • too much time for rendering;)...

  • very nice render and materials

    but resolution sucks ^^

  • Why so low resolution? that fluid should be better with 4x higher res...

you killed awesome animation with that

  • Because rendering hi-res fluids takes bloody forever.

  • Great job man!!!

  • How can you set the amount of like water that comes out of the fluid?

  • Far out. I like. This gives me some good ideas. Did you use yafray to render this?

    It looks pretty slick.

  • yep, everything in the video was rendered in yafray.

thanks for the comment, glad you like it :D

  • @Zigglycus its called yayfray isnt it?

  • i think water in games, like in bottles and glasses still look kinda bad. But i tihnk in about 1 year its gonna be amazing.

  • Modded up for the awesome music. I love blender too. =)

  • How did you get it so that the water didn't evaporate away? I want to be able to do something like that!

  • I love the music

  • moinsen

  • I know I wish I had done that, When I went to re-render it with higher resolutions I realized I deleted all the texture information. someday I will re-texture it.

  • nice animation, looks good the first animation.

i didnt knew the potential of blender, i mean, way better than spending 2k in a program that do the same thing.

    maaan pleaseee whatsss the song???????

  • I am not sure, have reformatted numerous times since then, I believe it is something by Giacomo Puccini though. Thanks for the comment ! If you put time into it blender can have some really promising results

  • What's the music from?

  • u shud make a tutorial on how to do this

  • I just took a regular water physics tutorial, built it out, and winged it from there. Go to the blender wiki and try it out for yourself. once you get the basics down just get creative. love starting up blender with a bunch of ideas mashing them together and seeing what comes out. :D

  • I want golden water :D

  • you mean urine?

  • Your water is looking a little thick. Otherwise, it's looking good.

  • what was the rendering time?

  • Give or take 20 years.

  • Somewhere around 10-15 hours. :P

  • You probably could have subsurfed that last tube thing. Nice job though!

  • why this qothic font ? doesnt fit..

  • good vid, let the fuild less sticky (looks like a drool or paint)

    GooD!

  • nice vid u should try maya next its a great program :)

  • You spill alot :( Learn to pour lulz

  • well maybe the liquid should have spilled over the edge a bit, but it is hard 2 make

its a learnig proces,so you can not 'epic' fail, because everytime u learn something

    im still newb but

i think you did a verry nice job

  • I said Epic fail because it tried to make it to the glass, but it didn't. At no point was i insulting the video, I thought it was funny

  • your comment was rated down -6

so not everybody agreed with ya ;)

and jojoblizzard: Blender is free, maya isnt

and wich program is best, is depending on the artist using it

  • WOW!! Nice materials!

  • Did you put a Sky box in the second scene?

  • nopr, used a HDRI angle map.

  • ah! thank you! I've recently been using HDR images

  • That's called an alchohol commercial kids.

    Good job dude

  • Thanks !

  • its good except for the fact that it looks like it's in space or really weak gravity

  • how long did it take to render?

  • Each scene i let sit overnight, It was a while back so i do not know the details but I do know it was around 1-2mins each frame. put it at a low res to get it rendered faster.

  • lol, reminds me of puke going down the funnel... which I guess could be a statement - after all, college kids get drunk from funneling booze, and I'm sure most of them (if not all) end up puking afterwards :P

  • omg that is damn brilliant its 3d and looks real man i love it and i know its hell lot of work keep doing this ur awesome :) 5/5

  • What's the music?

  • I think you missed the glass a bit :D

  • its all about the fluid..I think the intention was to show the blender physics....amazing particles....amazing 3D man

  • turn up the resolution a bit on your physics modifier. it'll help but you'll need a lot more ram to do so.

  • That stickie is awful in looking!

  • looks like 'normal speed' is still a bit too slow...

  • agreed, must be Really thick or just too slow

  • I Ithink so too. Great work though...

  • backgroun image suits it pefectly

  • Its very hard to do this that im stunned!!!(every time i see a blender video)

  • good work m8

  • looks nice, play a little more with the IPO curves to get a softer and more fluid movement around the funnel, but is really god. how much time did you spend in the render process? y si muy bacano!! pa´que!

  • how did you render this???

    it looks so good...

  • nice,,,

  • bacanisimo!

  • The environment was amazing and big. It must have taken a while. Definately worth my time. 9.3 out of 10

  • I love this fluid test animation done in blender wonderful job! i like music with the vid as well

  • It looks so real, great job 5/5

  • cool

  • Wow!!!

  • I'm glad to finally see a really awesome video!

  • Just seems a tad bit like mercury. Still, great video!

  • too many camera movements!! it drives me crazy

  • well thats realy cool...

  • Nice

  • lol, i think you should of moved the cup up a little.. you over shot the cup, lol

  • looking good

  • I am putting together a water video for a music festival that will happen here in LA on September 15th. I would love to use your video! I would certainly give you credit. Please contact me at d.agua @ yahoo dot com THANKS!

  • I LOVE THIS MUSIC SO MUTCH YOUR SO COOL

  • dude this is cool, im new blender myself where did you get a tutorial for this? i know fluid motion is possible with blender but where in the hell are people getting their tutorials from?

    thanks

  • wiki blender just google it teach you fluids and how to make them look all cool and transperent and reflective

  • what a mess!

  • i love the music too! lol

  • that must've taken a long time 2 render! check out sum of my blender stuff sumtime!

  • check out my water tutorial

  • pretty cool! btw, could you please tell me what soundtrack is that?

  • the fluid animations are very cool, but what i think is more amazing are the awesome textures

  • Very cool! This was rendered on Blender Internal or Yafray?

  • Yafray

  • Wow thanks for the tutorial thingy i just made my own water sim

  • It's really fun just watching the materials you use, theyre amazing. The fluid in Animation Test One looks like pee tho :p

  • Looks a little like wax or Mercury.

  • this is really cool.

  • This is really cool. I love it. Got any more?

  • dude this is cool, im new blender myself where did you get a tutorial for this? i know fluid motion is possible with blender but where in the hell are people getting their tutorials from?

    thanks

  • blenderartists*.org/forum/

where i got most of my information, and there is a tutorial forum that you can find thousnads of tuts, and request tuts

    en.wikibooks.*org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro

i believe this is were i got the tutorial for this fluid simulator, there is also alot of other really good tuts in there.

    have fun blender'in ;)

  • I find the best way is to press buttons and see what they doo!!
