  • UH can't we agree that it's better than oxycodone and all that stuff?

  • 4-20-2012 You got a job? Go on strike until they legalize cannabis! It's the only way to get full scale recreational legalization! Be the change! All you have to do is spread the word to everyone you know and every website you visit! Start a chainmail, get pro pot organizations involved. Blog about it. Like it. Thumbs up this message everywhere you see it! Let this message snowball out of control! We are the Marijuana Nation! On 4-20-2012 don't go to work instead toke up and protest! WE NEED YOU

  • dr. denney is a crack head for saying shit like this i support tougher procedures to extend prison time for the use selling and or owning marijuana regardless of how much you have

  • @floridaman2000 Then, you support a lack of logic and common sense.

  • im from holland. I do it about once or twice a month for the past 2 years and I still feel wonderful as before. I never have hangovers (also since i dont drink that much). I have no mental or physical issues and I know no one around me (including myself) that has ever felt any form of "addictive thoughts" about weed. Next to that I have never met an agressive person while he was stoned. Yet I meet agressive drunk people every single week. Here u go US government. Try to beat that

  • As a public school teacher, I openly ran for the BC Marijuana Party in 2001 and was not fired or in any way harassed by my employer.

Vancouver has the best cannabis in the world readily available at all times to anyone who wants it.

The cops here want it legalized also since 4 their officers were needlessly shot and killed in what's known as "The Mayerthorpe Incident". (Google it,please)

Only criminals want it to stay illegal because they reap the massive profits.

    End pot prohibition, get rich!

  • It can be slightly "mentally" addictive, but nowhere close to the legally available prescription medications, or a cup of coffee for that matter

  • @JByrd029 I don't think addictive is the proper word to use. Our bodies need cannabis the same way we need vitamins and other nutrients. Some of us need more than others ;o)

  • @aolthof007 Bullshit mate, you find some good cannabis supplies and you can deny it all you want, but everybody knows when you start to get low, it sucks! And I can testify on behalf of practically all of my close friends. I think good cannabis available to us is the wave of the future, but anything that alters the natural brain functions and gives a "high" can eventually become semi "addictive." Now I'm a huge fan of all out legalization, but my point originally was it can become habit forming.

  • @JByrd029 ...the addiction to marijuana has more to do with the person's personality than with the THC. Yes, weed is addictive, but only to those who have addictive personalities. Why do you think there are hundreds of thousands of people out there who are "pot smokers", but only do it once a week or once a month...? 'Cause these people probably don't feel the need to smoke it daily, yet enjoy the buzz enough to do it before watching a movie or jammin' with other musicians.

  • @TheRealDerfMan whatever you say man

  • @JByrd029 ...whatever I just said... is fact, like it or not.

  • @TheRealDerfMan Are you a doctor? What you are saying are not facts but simply your opinion pal, which I respect. Let us not argue, but agree that good cannabis is indeed a great thing.

  • @JByrd029 Geeez dude, no I'm NOT a doctor. I observe and draw my own conclusions. As far as the "addictive" thing is concerned, OK, I don't have medical proof, all I have are my observations. I don't think there's a point in arguing my observations - I'm being 100% honest. And as for the "hundreds of thousands" of pot smokers I've described, I actually know people like that. So, it's not an opinion, know what I mean?

...and yes - good cannabis is indeed a great thing. No argument there. Cheers!

  • @TheRealDerfMan Are you a doctor? You have made a bold claim without a speck of proof. The facts don't back your claim. In fact I am associated with a group of Psychiatrists that are conducting studies that show cannabis to be the most helpful substance they have to get addicts OFF of other durgs like heroine, cocaine, meth, and other narcotics. You can participate by calling 760-799-2055.

  • @aolthof007 OK, are you blind, or are you dumb? Seriously, let's look at what just happened. I started off my last post saying "Geeez dude, no I'm NOT a doctor.", and your reply to me is "Are you a doctor?" A psychiatrist who can't read? Really?? Besides, there is absolutely NOTHING bold that I have said in my claim.

Plus, how exactly do you want me to participate? I have never snorted coke or touched meth, mesc, heroine, ecstacy. You can see how dumb you appear to me right now, right? Geeezus!

  • @TheRealDerfMan Your comments lend nothing to this discussion. I have just posted a video everyone should watch, including those self-rightous non-addicted to anything people.

  • @aolthof007 ....learn how to read first, then I might start taking you seriously. Whether you like it or not, my claims are backed by my own personal experiences. I didn't go to some indoctrination center and get a piece of paper saying that I'm a doctor or psychiatrist, yet this doesn't stop me from looking at my surroundings and evaluating them. Anyone who seems self-righteous right now ain't me, buddy. But hey, good luck with your studies and whatever else you do....

  • @aolthof007 You're not paying attention, i think he meant he does see how he could be in a study thats about getting hard drug users off their drugs by smoking cannabis.. if he doesnt do any hard drugs. which makes sense and doesnt make him the slightest bit "self-righteous". hes also been pro-cannabis in every comment hes posted and you come back at him saying "No, its good!" im reeeaaally confused at 2 people arguing while on the side of an arguement

  • @TheRealDerfMan I apologize for aolthof007's assumptions. I agree that cannabis is addictive, but only a few develop a withdrawal syndrome to it. Watch my video, "Marijuana: Silencing the Siren". It's here on Youtube, and it discusses marijuana addiction compared to other drugs.

  • @TheRealDerfMan Asshole.

  • MrDrummer2112: It is addictive, atleast the experience of been high! like adrenalin kicks :)

  • I love Indicas!

  • been using marijuana for 4 years to treat sever anxiety. no regrets at all. use it right and reep the benefits. the only regret is not doing it sooner.

not for teenagers though because they need to mature their minds first...

  • @MrDrummer2112 sorry im an addict of 3 years you wrong

  • @SALVOTHESTONEDONE

Well are you addicted to the substance or are you addicted to how cool you think smoking weed makes you?

  • @subliminallz i am addicted to delta 9 tetrahydro canabinol

  • @SALVOTHESTONEDONE I think you´re just one anti-marijuana prick, bullshitting others!!!

  • this magical plant heals SIMPLE as that our government in the england make me sick WE SHOULD BE FREE TO HEAL ONES MIND AND BODY BUT THEY SAY NO I SAY FUCK EM I SMOKE AND EAT IT EVERY DAY FOR MANY REASONS IT HEALS

  • I smoked with my drug counselor, is that bad?

  • my pussy is wet

  • @RCHSwackness:Is it still wet? Been about a month now...

  • @sockembopers12 i'm a guy.. nice try tho

  • @RCHSwackness: LOL Then why didn't you say "my dick is hard"?

  • @sockembopers12 haha that's gay fool

  • politicians don't want to admit they're wrong. changing their views all of a sudden would make them look like they don't know what they're talking about, so they do everything they can to convince themselves that they were right originally

  • i think the one of the main reasons pot is illegal is because the tobbaco indrustry would lose alot of money if it were to be legalized which it is gonna be in novemember!

  • @damnation999666

also the logging companys would loose money cuas if it were legal they would use hemph to make alot of paper ...like all kinds not rolling papers.

  • it fake h'es reading something , just cause it looks like a doctor it don't mean is a doctor BUT HE WAS SAYING THE TRUTH!

    LOL

  • I wish commercials like this one was on tv all the time. Legalize, regulate and educate is the key!

  • YEA!!! DENNEY!!! THATS MY DOCTOR! When you meet him, he is just like Santa Clause, kind and compassionate.

  • i bet he smokes marijuana ;)

  • @TheWoWMaster1 No shit, almost everyone who understands the effects of marijuana on you uses it. I mean, why wouldn't you if you know it's a good thing?

  • why alcohol is legal n pot illegal....i think its because if pot was legal every cunt could eqasily grow it and the gov would miss out on tax...whereas alcohol is harder 2 make so they know ppl will just buy it.

  • ITS DR GREENTHUMB lol

  • If the government legalized and found a way to tax marijuana sales america would rid of its national debt in under 3 years politicians know this. If they took the money they use to jail pot dealers and put that into growing, distributing and taxing it like tobacco recession would be a word of the past

  • Yep

  • yes it too bad the US government is run bu such a bunch of idiots.

  • Even if marijuana does create some kind of permanent damaging affects (witch cannot be proven because of legal status and we all know we feel fine after the high come off) it would take years and pounds and pounds of some high grade marijuana for it to do anything that harmful, by the time it would do anything permanently damaging you would be on your last final years any way, life is short do what ever the fuck you want, and of course... LEGALIZE IT!

  • Also, according to the view count, it looks like it's just you and me here. I'm not going to continue to convince only you. Dad always said, you'll always fail trying to argue against crazy people - it's like throwing a stone down a dark cavern and not even hearing a splash. You are a deep dark empty cavern.

  • The only thing is your the crazy man you had to go as lo as bringing pedophiles into this!! A debate on Marijuana which is for personal use its not going out and hurting little kids like that the government has no right stepping in on personal shit like what drugs we can use and who we can marry!!

  • looks like you are having trouble throwing the stone out of the cave

  • Misinterpretation of analogy

  • i understood exactly what you meant :)

  • Because thats our right. Our government is suppose to take these kind of situations and cope with them and see what is less harmful to us and this war is obviously not the way to deal with this problem 35 years and we have no control over it we allow these cartels to run this and bc tabacoo, alchohol ,oil and pharmaceutical companies pay millions a year to say to war on drugs to say what drugs are ok for us they have over500,000 deaths between them a year on ave. so whats that say?

  • Yeah that just proves that our Government is a big fat Hippocratic money scamming bunch of ass holes, "drug free America, and D.A.R.E" and most of those b.s money wasting programs are paid by our own alcohol companys, tell me that is not hypocritical.

  • what we have 4 pages of us goin back n forth and the only thing you can come with is wht dont me dicriminalize raping little kids too wtf is that you are talking about marijuana ok not pedophiles this is nuts ive been pretty much saying we need to end this worthless prohibition and us that money to SCHOOL, BUSTING REAL CRIMINALS, RAPIST, KILLERS, PEDOPHILES ok we dont need to put all this money into fighting Marijuana when its against our constitutional rights to make consumption illegal

  • We'll have enough for both - the pedophiles and those who need attention to get correction, either in prison or rehab. Most of the folks I know who do pot don't ever see a day in prison, drama queen. Trust me, if we taxed and sold pot, the govt would squander that as well. We have no shortage of resources - just waste.

  • When there's miles of rationalization for only inches of fact, you know it's never a good idea.

  • inches of facts more like miles of facts and inches of rationalization. Scientist and dr are saying what great use we can get out of marijuana and Hemp and tons of studies show that Marijuana is less harmful to the body then alchohol and cigarettes. 450,000+ die each year from alchohol or marijuana. 0 from direct usageof marijuana and a big 290 people they could put in as part of the cause of death not the main cause of death 15,000each year die from the medicine our Dr are givving us now

  • Again... smoke (carcinogens) and cancer is like the bullet in the gun. It's easy to blame one or the other for deaths.

I promised myself I'd stop this once I started repeating myself. Go to school and learn a bit about public policy, then come back and we'll chat again.

  • Dont need a class for common sense on public policy they are supose to deal with these problems in the safest way for the people this is not the safest way they need to look into it a lot more but they wont bc they are crooked people and im can assume they are gettin paid to keep sht illegal bc if they were not then marijuana would be legal or tobacoo companies would be ban along with alchohol with there 1/2 million deaths a year from the usage

  • Keep telling yourself that and whatever... I'm not dancing around in la la land anymore. It's all good.

  • ok thats fine how about watch a couple videos just 4 they are very short but im sure Willam F Buckley and Ron Paul are more educated on Public Policy then us

    watch:

William F. Buckley on cigarettes, illegal drug and hypocrisy /

    Buckley on Legalizing Drugs /

Ron Paul on CNN on April 15, 2009 says legalizing marijuana could reduce crime HD /

Ron Paul on marijuana, prohibition, and personal freedom

  • and besides that i know a few alchoholics well x now but you know what they do now is smoke weed and guess what they function waaay better with society now then when alchoholic actually one of them is my moms boyfriend he had to do time in jail and rehab now he dont drink at all and smokes pretty much daily and he is waaay better now and waaaaaaaaaaaay happier of a person as well. Lets spend this money in our schools and to help out the 38 million uninsured sounds better than banning a plant

  • lmao and to put weed and pedophiles on the same page you have something wrong in your ticker we should be locking them up longer but no if you use heroin and caught you will spend more time in jail then a pedophile or rapist. Sorry but if you do research on alchohol and marijuana and we all cant control our kids unless we lockem down i would much rather my son smoke pot which wont turn him into an alchoholic or get him behind a wheel and kill himself or others alchoholism is a sick disease

  • it would obv be for adults only to use responsible like booze but noooooo you see out tabacoo companies and alchohol companies put alot of money into the war on drugs so they dont lose competition they fear that if americans know that marijuana is less harmful they would use that instead and no proven studies say that weed smoke gives you cancer how could it when it stops the spread of cancer you should look into that more and it being illegal is mor harmful to us then it being legal

  • Also, we have tons of after school programs such as sports and clubs which act as an alternative to drugs in our communities. Would you suggest that it's just better to just give them weed and sit back? That's both a waste and a shame. I really don't think I see how drugs OR pedophiles would help our youths any. Why do you suggest weed for our kids is a good thing?

  • HEMP for Victory thats one time but then Rockafella found out that would be real big competition and helped the government to make it illegal even hemp which that alone could boost our economy and what is wrong with having a safer drug than alchohol for people like me who dont drink and would rather after working 10 hr days smoke a joint instead of a beer and nobody is talking about giving our kids weed lol you are silly it would be regulated our kidas can get weed easier then alchohol bc y?

  • marijuana has been essentially illegal since 1937, the prohibition of this plant has not worked. There have been studies done that prove it has medical uses, if it didn't then the synthetic drug Marinol would not exist. It has also been proven that in recreational use it does less harm than alcohol. Please look at how much our government spends on trying to fight something that is of no threat to our society. Realize how many other ways that money could be spent to make this a stronger country.

  • I'm not going to spend weeks debating this because I don't intend to change your mind. Frankly I've got better things to do. You and I are on the same page with medicine and textiles. I only have one question in a public policy sense - would legalizing yet another intoxicating agent be beneficial to our society?

  • It cant hurt society anymore, its safer then alchohol ive been searching for deaths due to marijuana and cant find any that are cause of death. Its a safe way to stimulate your mind peacefully all the crap you hear about it being bad is tobacoo and alchohol companies paying for that to be put out and oil companies (rockafella helped make it illegal after ford made hemp car and claimed they can make hemp from oil) and the pharmcy drug companies dont want cancer patience growin ther own drugs sik

  • Would legalizing yet ANOTHER intoxicating agent be BENEFICIAL to our society?

    Question still unanswered

  • Yes

  • Less Crime ,Less prisoners more tax money to put in more important places, and we can make hemp oil

  • 1: (Hemp oil) We're on the same page in textiles

2: No crime means no criminals for prison - that's a cop out.

3: Should we legalize all other drugs to create a tax relief as well? That'll mean less crime too.

I think I hear NAMBLA knocking to lower the age of consent as well - we could turn them ALL into non-criminals should the law allow.

Please take a course in public policy - some might take you seriously.

  • What are you crazy the law should be punished harder peophiles should be put in jail for much longer then drug offenders lowering the consent under 18 or 17 in some states is crazy and dumb and wrong thats what im saying the tax money should go to stopping those crimes child pedophiles rapist and murderers not non violent drug offenders

  • Why not both? Why not say we can keep our streets free of pedophiles AND drugs? Legal or not, I can never think of an instance in which drug activity of any kind has enhanced the lifestyle and quality of any community. If I didn't know better, I'd say you were a fan weed yourself - not to accuse.

Sorry if my responses are delayed, I'm debating a pedophile on another page. Appears he too doesn't want to made out to look criminal. Sigh, everyone's got an opinion.

  • Kids being molested and raped by adults is a SERIOUS crime in which we need to put more money and resources to to help control better. You cant even compare these two this is nuts weed is much safer then our alchohol and it can be used for more then recreational, kids that use pot are not gonna be hurt as if someone raped them or molested them, then become pedophiles themselves most cases show this. So like i have been saying we need more money into controling Rapist Murderers and Pedophiles

  • And we dont have this money to do this so we need to lookat our laws as like Marijuana to get this money we take billions a year from tobacoo companies that kill 400,000 people a year put marijuana the leading cash crop the cause very very little harm to the body no recorded death from it in over 300 years of usage so why would we make this a crime simple it was made a crim bcof racism and good ol Rockafella who put money into making marijuana illegal after finding out it can make hemp oil gtg

  • Who's lobbying for cigarettes here?

  • Not me. When Big Corporations are able to put their label on Marijuana it will become legal.

  • Me either... we're smart and willing enough to not let them get another asset.

  • "Penalties against possession of a drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself, and where they are they should be changed." Jimmy Carter - Former U.S. President

  • there is noway to get rid of our drug problem but the only thing we can do is cope with the problem not go to war with it obviously thats not working so how long do we go on wasting billions on this war until we wake up and smell the HEMP

  • We should surrender to it. That's what you're saying. Like I said, the ONLY people going to jail for it are:

    A) REPEAT OFFENDERS

    B) DRUG DEALERS

Those dumb enough to get cited over and over and over deserve some time to think. Obama himself, once a pot guy said it would bee too much of a compromise.

  • More like realize we were wrong for making it illegal in the first place i mean them not even allowing hemp to be grown tells you something is wrong thats a great source of energy and oil and those that are repeat offender are the hard drug users and no they are not dumb idiots they have a problem and prison will not take care of that problem it would be cheaper in the long run to put them through rehab and actually help them not put them in prison were a lot of drugs are easy to get inside

  • HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TELL YOU... WE'RE ON THE SAME PAGE WITH TEXTILES!!!!!!! What I'm rallying against is the dumb idea of allowing another drug on our streets. Ever watch To Catch A Predator? We're bringing in the pedos, and we have room to spare for the people who insist on keeping DRUGS on our streets - not hemp oil, not medicine for the patients - BUT DRUGS. If everything's black and white with you, you'll never see the gray. It takes gray matter to see gray sometimes.

  • Name ONE instance in which recreational drug activity LEGAL or ILLEGAL has enhanced a community. Usually, in either case, it's been known to cause problems for neighborhoods. Are you saying now that KIDS should smoke pot too? BTW, simple carcinogenic physics can attest that putting smoke of any kind in your lungs can eventually kill you. Blaming the cancer as opposed to the weed is just like blaming the bullet rather than the gun.

  • i know i know lock up not block up

  • call 19734093274 toll free to legalize marijuana! hurry copy and paste

  • With out a doubt...weed cures many illness..including skincancer by ingestion...or making into a cream and using on skin..acohol..is a much worse substance than weed.....weed is fuckin medicne...

  • have you seen "Run From the Cure"?

  • The voice over sounds like Obama LOL

  • i used to be anti-marijuana and then i got a life and an education and realized how stupid and naive i was being. marijuana is a wonderful thing don't let the government and its slaves convince you to think otherwise

  • hahah, exactly how it went for me. I was against it because I didn't know anything about it, and I've learned the hard way the importance of not judging anything before trying it.

  • @bchamp909 Thank you for waking up and smelling the true potential of cannabis :)

  • @bchamp909 Yeah I used to be like you to. Where I thought marijuana was really dangerous and bad, but then I got curious and I tried it, and let me tell you, I felt way more in control than when I was drunk. It's not really as horrible as people think

  • Sorry, last comment was rushed... lunch break is almost over.

  • santa?

  • Dr.Hippy!!! right on homie! legalize my medicine, it helps...with...well it helps me not feel the way i feel when i'm NOT smokin marijuana, and thats good...WICKED CLOWNS are ya biggest customers all you dealers out there

  • hell yea, JUGGALOS 4 LYFE MCL

  • Religion is bullshit. They actually convience people that there is a invisible man living in the sky. And he knos exactly where you are and what you do. and he has a list of 10 things he does not want you to do. and if you do any of these 10 things. he has a place for you full of fire where you can burn, suffer, scream, and cry for ever and ever tell the end of time. but he loves you

  • McCain, sara palin, bush all republican morons. Right wing religous morons. FUCKIN REPUBLICAN WILL NEVER ADVERTISE THIS VIDEO ON T.V. THEY RATHER HAVE EVERYONE SUFFER AND EAT NASTY HANDMADE GOVERNMENT BULLSHIT PILLS

  • the government is shit, Most of america are brain washed morons.

  • ...says the guy named bongsmoke. I really have no response for you... just read the older posts.

  • your stupid as fuck. whatever i dant care vote republican/BUSH. STAY BRAIN WASHED YOU DUMBFUCK. 75% of americans are brain washed morons like you. wake up dumbfuck you will never get any pussy

  • says the guy name bongsmoke? what the fuck. you rather hear these facts from someone named McLovin? Scientist Dr. Herb like wtf who fcukin gives a shit about the name. that doesent change anything your still a dumb heartless peice of shit moron. SMOKE THE ORGANIC, NATRAL, HERB/PLANT!!! PUSSY

  • Did I mention you sound quite educated too?

  • I have a real problem with a government that does everything in its power to criminalize and punish those who excercise their God given right to consume marijuana in the privacy of their own homes for recreational purposes let alone those suffering from terminal or chronic illnesses. It's time to end this prohibition now. It is ridiculous.

  • It's astonishing that people are so ignorant, and it saddens me that the rest of society will have to suffer for it. How could a person, shown such overwhelming evidence from so many sources, deny a sick person a perfectly sound means to help their suffering ? *sigh* Oh well, keep up the fight and stay strong brother!

  • Does anyone drum in a hippie circle anymore? The hippies have grown up and don't need a nanny, either you or the government. Cannabis should be legal for many reasons including it's medicinal value and since there is no evidence that anyone has ever in the history of the world been harmed by using cannabis there is no reason for anyone to regulate it's use.

  • Wouldn't it seem like using it medicinally would be a more attainable goal, instead of the people in the DEA looking at other people who use the stuff to be like the drum circle "crowd"? It seems rather selfish to say that we should have this psychoactive drug to heal cancer, but to have a trippy experience if one wanted. Not buying it.

  • foley, I find your ignorance, bigotry and intolerance to be the problem here, not the plant cannabis. Because this is a free country, sort of, you have a right not to use cannabis. No one cares at all if you don't use cannabis and I would never try to sell you on the idea. The issue is Civil Rights, is that not a desirable and attainable goal?

  • Foley, fyi: The brain has cannabis receptors that allows interactions with the brain. There are interactions throughout the body, but concerning your charge of "trippy experiences" it has been proven in clinical studies that the brain does not go "trippy" when using cannabis.

  • foley, and others who share his beliefs, I want to restate that because there are medical indications for the use of cannabis does not mean that the only use for cannabis is medicinal. Humans and other animals have used cannabis since time began and have thrived by it's use. Do you suppose to know better then all of history? Why not ban Peaches or Cherries instead? More people die every year from choking on the pits of those deadly fruits. ;o)

  • Anybody who's already in love with the drug will say anything to rationalize it's use. Can't we just agree that any sort of legalization should be prioritized for our sick patients, and not just put out there for people to get high? That would seem like the least selfish thing to do. If you really care about our cancer patients, then stop your own self-serving initiatives. The govt will listen to that much less.

  • the government should not have intefered in the first place they should have just stuck to opium, cocain, and acid they should have let pot grow freely as it has prior to the last century including this one.

  • the government should be listening to us instead of the other way around. Isn't it selfish of people like you to legalize it just for medicinal use when so many get spiritual and recreational use out of a harmless drug as well? It seems that the government is run by people and if "People" would pull their head out they might legalize it for everyone instead of just the sick because benefits come to those who are healthy as well, trust me I know. who's free when you can't even use an herb?

  • thats a shame you're closed minded and dont like the natural connection between plants and people

  • ... I didnt know potheads were getting high and were more susceptible to, car accidents, random acts of violence/rage and frequently commit rape and other crimes as a result of getting high. Oh shit thats alcohol!

  • Nobody's defending alcohol here. So people like to smoke pot. Fine. What constructive contribution would it make to society to legalize, other than so people can get high? Nobody's been able to answer.

  • violence would go down, perscription drugs would not be used as frequenly as they are now your beloved alcohol would lose business. there would be a larger market for biodegradable plastics such as hemp I could go on and on marijuana is good.

  • And marijuana is good. Well, I stand corrected.

  • Maybe its not only about whats good for the entire world all the time. Maybe some people like to do things just for them and for their mind. Its not fair that weed is illegal because some people get lazy from it and because it cant be taxed. So what if the government cant make money off a plant, so what if someone wants to relax one day and smoke a bowl? Everything is done for the sake of mankind but you know what? Im sick of working to better the entire world just to die in the end with nothing

  • And that is only some people who get lazy. I myself and everyone i smoke with think a lot more because of it and actually become more focused on what we have to get done. Youre stereotyping marijuana users as lazy and nonconstructive. Dont be ignorant. Youre just a puppet and the downfall of this world as we know it.

  • Never mind the fact that most of those "50 people who want to keep it illegal" are going to be vastly influenced by the widespread government propaganda about that "killer weed". And no, alcohol and "cigs" are in no way a worthy replacement of the kind of peace and relaxation that smoking a joint of some good pot can bring into one's life. But yeah I guess getting drunk as balls, and making a complete idiot out of yourself is "enough". BAHH BAHHHHH suffocate on your own wool plzkthnx :D

  • what the, that was supposed to be a reply for "e1foley"...

maybe i do smoke too much weed :O

  • No actually, I figured it out, youtube sucks.

  • find me a single reported incident when a person under the influence of weed gets in a car crash without having alcohol in their system then ill somewhat agree with you. and why would alcohol, the liver killing, brain cell killing, rage inducing, accident causing substance and cigs, the lung destructor, be enough to substitute for something that does no harm to anyone... idiot.

  • its a plant. just like every other herbal supplement that people use for random things everyday. people take herbs to enhance their bodies and their minds, but why doesnt weed fall under that category? it is an herb... it does affect and alter the mind and the person using it... whats the difference? there are supplements, drinks, pills, that help you become focused, or regulate your body, why take them when i can simply smoke a bowl and itll be done and ill have more fun with it? its a plant.

  • Again oversimplification. I'm not so interested in the plant, just the THC. Ask any chemist to see in Tetrahydrocannabinol has a positive effect whatsoever - then we'll talk. If you're just interested in plants, then why not smoke dandelions? Obviously, most aren't interested in the plant, but the effect. C21H30O2 is the formula. • actually MANY chemists, scientists, doctors, all see positive effects in THC. are you dense? thats why its medical... here are extracts and edibles, all made from the plant that contain THC, that are for medical patients who need the THC but cant smoke it. like how dumb are you? do your research before talking.

  • we do have an understanding on that, but why are alcohol and tobacco legal for non medical use, they both are mind altering substances, especially alcohol. thats one of the most dangerous legal substances. marijuana should be legal in the same sense that alcohol and tobacco are legal, just give an age restriction. there is nothing wrong with it in moderation, and for potheads, like myself, we wouldnt mind.

  • People continuing to violate is not an indication of failing policy. Take for example, people speeding on the road. People still do it, cops still stop them - it's not about making it stop completely, just finding prevention. I'm sure that if people didn't abuse pot to the point that they became basement zombies with guitars, the govt' wouldn't be so reluctant to legalize, and frankly, neither would I. I have to state for the record again, I don't take the side of cigs or alcohol.

  • people get it either way, might as well make a legal market out of it, because as we see from the past... prohibition does not work.

  • Keep in mind there have been recorded incidents of people being intoxicated by weed and getting behind the wheel causing an accident. What's the reason to decriminalize? People want to get high. Aren't cigs and alcohol enough? I said it once and I'll say it again:

Find me one person who doesn't like that pot's illegal, and I can find you 50 people who want to keep it illegal or don't speak on the issue because there's no threat of it becoming legal.

  • theres no threat of it becoming legal, theres hope, beliveve me ive had expirance while driving high, i drive perfect, most of the time better than when im sober u can go FUCK your self e1foley, WEED NEEDS TO BE LEGALIZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Spoken like the uneducated stereotype I've been rallying against. If you want to debate it point for point like a grown-up, give me a call on my cell via the website link on my profile. Seriously, you're worse than Michael J Fox trying to play a game of Jenga.

  • e1foley you should read more on the use of cannabis (cannabis being the term used when the plant is used for medical purpose) I believe that it is a way better Drug then other alternatives like oxycotton which is addictive, pot is not. The THC in cannabis acts as natural bronchial dilator. It has also been shown that THC has killed cancer tissue cells. j/k pots bad .. ban it

  • I can understand the humor there - however, it's important to separate the mission of marijuana as a prescribed medicine and as a recreational drug to make legal... these are two separate efforts. I think pot for medicine is a noble cause - it's just unfortunate that there are potheads out there who undermine the fight and choose to make it lose it's credibility, on both an intellectual and medical basis.

  • Abraham Lincoln: "Prohibition... goes beyond the bound of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded"

DEA Judge Francis Young "Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man..."

  • Point being? Are we talking about politics, medicine or the pothead agenda here? I love how you guys decontextualize things as well - too bad I'm not more impressionable.

  • Well lets see you can take it how you want it should already be legal for medical use thats a no brainer and for prohibition on it well its just dumb to have a war on marijuana when it didnt work for alchohol and marijuana is less harmful and the safer choice. All people that smoke weed are not potheads just like all people that drink are not alchoholics so why wouldnt we help our economy out and bring in 50-100 billion more in taxes create million jobs

  • why our we putting all the drug users in jail when the ones who are selling them are the real criminals (selling crystal meth, crack cocaine etc..) not marijuana bc it doesnt kill the users or have any proven side effects that are worste for you then alchohol plus you can use hemp for oil and make tons of stuff out of hemp man think of that hemp oil man we might not have anymore wars over oil again

  • Let's look at prohibition a different way - if people are still doing it, it doesn't necessarily represent a failire in policy. Take for example, speeding on the highway. Seriously... I think we have enough problems without encouraging intoxication even more. Would you claim we're better for our recreational drugs? Cigarettes? Alcohol? Those aren't going anywhere, but we can at least be proactive enough to say this is a REALLY dumb idea.

  • How is it a dumb idea it's less harmful then alchohol we would keep tons of people out of jail that shouldnt be in jail stop spending our tax money on a pointless law that we cannot control it causes more harm to society illegal then legal and with how much we need money i think 50-100 billion more in tax money a year might just help out idk about you but id rather see our money be put to more serious problems pedophiles rapist thieves hard drug dealers not addicts or stoners we dont block up

  • our alchoholics unless they drink and drive why our we locking up all the non violent drug offenders that wont help them thats a criminal colledge some might change but its been proven rehab works a lot better then prison for alchoholics. But a really dumb idea would be keeping weed illegal and keep on putting drug users in prison waste the tax money like we have been for 35+ years instead of hey idk fix our healthcare or schools and educate our kids more on these drugs

  • You are absolutely right! When was the last time you heard on the news that some driver high on Cannabis got into an accident and killed innocent people? Never!!! They should legalize the plant and let people live their lives.

  • ye excpet all countries are not fucked up and retarted like USA. Some countries like canada, peaceful, free health care, weed is decrimanlized. you can seriously smoke a bowl right infront of the piggs. CANADA is bigger then USA has 30 million people america has 300 million filled with idiots like george bush. IM MOVING TO CANADA!

  • ummm, go for it? every country is filled with idiots. in the USA people just express their idiotic opinions alot more, because its legal too. and the free health care thing... yea its free, but you have to wait a LONG time for an appointment, and the doctors usually suck. and the police DO care dude, dont be stupid.

  • yo the government is filled with idiot heartlesss morons and you know that. They are brain washing america advertising ciggs, alchol, pills on T.v. signs on freeways. Its a natral plant. alot healthier and safer then any other medicine. The cops are brain washed like you dont be stupid.

  • dude, i smoke weed, what are you talking about? i know theyre advertising pills, alcohol, and cigarettes... i know that weed is natural and safe and has alot more benefits besides medical ones. i was just saying that you hating USA is stupid because of like 1/18 of the people are heartless assholes... and if you wanna go to canada, then go, its no better then here because what we have here are good supplies, that cost alot, but they have shitty supplies, that are free.

  • 61 percent of the people in our country beleive a man build a boat and got every animal and every insect to get on it and fuck.

  • canada has less population too because alot of it is frozen tundra.

  • yes i know alot of it is mountain and shit too. thats alot better then concrete every where

  • what has a pothead ever done to you to be so rude.

  • What about medicine for the mind? It's not always about physical uses you know. Cannabis has been along for centuries, even throughout ancient times. The only reason why people associate pot with druggies is because it's made "forbidden" and linked with coke, heroin and other horrible drugs.
