@fingerboarder329 The video player is pretty good, it plays, mpeg, avi, flv, and mp4. The quality of the videos is good especially if the video itself is good quality. However, I only watch videos if I have my headphones in because the volume of the video player is about 20% lower than the volume of the music player. hope this helps :)

Hey dude you do know that you don't need to "buy" iTunes, and that you can add music for free from your library, right?

Just wanted to make that clear. Oh and one more thing....yeah the iPod Touch is expensive, but you're getting a good quality product. I work in an electronics store, and I'll tell ya one thing....we get a lot of defective Cobys....I would recommend the iTouch if you want to get at least a year out of your media player. Not to mention the App store, WiFi, bluetooth, etc...

This disappoints me very much. I got it for Christmas and my parents payed way to much for it. The sound quality isn't that good, the touch screen isn't very sensitive nor accurate and the thing stopped working exactly one month after i had got it. I took very good care of it and it just stopped, and now the place we got it from says it will take a month to get the money back after they receive it. Don't buy this. I would recommend going with a Sansa and putting Rock Box on it. Its much cheaper

No you can not it doesn't do very much actually. I would by a sansa clip,sansa e200 series or sansa fuze v1 and put rock box on it. With rock box you can do almost any thing, even play gameboy and gameboy color games on it and none of them is more than $50 refurbed. There also mush more durable and have excelent sound quality.

This Coby is a great deal if somebody is on a budget and just wants a simple, yet nice-looking MP3 player. The iPod Touch is much more expensive, and is for people who want to carry around music with them, but also play tons of apps and games, and have the ability to connect to WiFi when available. I have a 1st Generation iPod Touch 8GB and I dont need a newer one because it meets all my requirements of an "Multimedia Device". I may get this Coby because its 8GB for around $60 at BigLots.

Exactly, One of the main reasons i bought this one is cuz all i needed is music and vids, if i had wifi internet connection everywhere than a ipod touch would be a no brainer, but since im hardly ever at wifi hotspots, i wasnt about 2 spend $100 extra for an ipod touch

Well I do like highquality songs, and I do know what music I like. I have my variety and playlists in iTunes. I don't have an 80GB Classic, If I did I would probably be saving archives and backup data too. But I have an 8GB iTouch which is good enough and a newer 8GB Coby which are both good.
