On the XBOX version you press 'Y' to get in and out of vehicles. On PS2 I imagine it would be the 'triangle' button

It wasn't attempting to be GTA-it was attempting to be a faithful recreation of the Godfather setting, and that it was. Just because it used the open-world style pioneered by the GTA games does not mean they were attempting to steal it's audience-more Godfather fans than GTA fans bought this, I would think.

You have to save your game, quit and then re-load your game then when you have options like Join The Family and Film Archives and stuff go to the tailor shop to buy clothes and the barber shop to change hair and looks. Hope I helped! :D
