I see your point Steve,but I understand the guy on the police board's point too.I get pretty tired of foul language invading my space in public.You want to swear at home with your family, your kids,etc. whatever...can't stop you there,but what gives someone the right to invade my environmental space with disgusting,low-class, offensive language?I admit what the guy is promoting is probably not workable, but I think the sentiment is admirable.trash on the street or trashy talk -don't like either!

Except that there's already a law in place, IIRC, that covers obnoxious behaviour. It's called "disturbance of the peace."
