The fact these girls continued to try and attack him was beyond ridiculous! He had the right to defend himself but not to keep beating them when they were down! She even went to stand up and he hit her again! There is a difference between self defence and fighting!! He began to defend himself but then continued to whack the crap out of them. The ideo shows the women spit and swing at the man just for trying to verify the authenticity of the $50 bill they were using (aka doing his job correctly). All this happened before they hopped over the counter to try and attack him. He should not have continued to hit the woman once she was down, but they did attack him. As far as McDonalds....

If so, what is to become of a man who can't work to support himself? IMO if we treated people like that it would breed far more violence than this video shows. As someone who has worked in fast food my entire life, I've got to say...I agree with this man's decision. Customer physically assaults you, jumps the counter you are supposed to assume that they have a weapon and are trying to rob you and possibly harm your customers.
