like you can say シャワー　と　サイワー　I think its more カタカナの英語　that trips them up like saying スガー　but now it's been changed to シュガー but sometimes people use the first one.

it's all the same site really. the japanese youtube (as well as other languages) is just a translation, so your search results are simply dependent upon what language you typed your search in. It also depends on what users put in their tags. Koichi here has used japanese tags AND english tags for his videos so that speakers of both languages can find him.

Try going on Japanese Youtube some time and doing a search in English. Your results will be the same as the English Youtube. :)
