This song rules, it has quite a different sound then your standard In Flames song. Its got a sort of celtic feel in the beginning and then a huge build up that settles into a groove metalish riff. Very nice blend which makes this song own your fucking ears!

These guys know what they're doing better than most. I've loved every In Flames album, including Lunar Strain and Subterranean, which, when compared to this, is an entirely different sound . This is just imo, but they probably wouldn't have lasted if they stayed stubborn and didn't evolve. They felt that way themselves, hence their album Reroute to Remain. Also, they've done something similar to that era...look at the chorus for Fear is the Weakness from this album.

From what I've heard, and I don't know how true it is but Jesper left on two reasons, one he had some problems he had to work out, two the band wanted to start a new style of music and he wasn't comfortable with it. I hear a lot of talk on how their new album sucks, etc. The band wanted to change some things up a little bit, its gets old playin the same thing over, give em a break

Okey, this is sick! I've listened to the album through my computer speakers, pretty good ones. And I have thought to myself, well, this is nothing special. The point came today, I bought the CD, and put it into my big Canton hifisystem. Sat down in the sofa, and.......bam. I sat quite during the whole album, for about 40 minutes. Didn't moved. For example, "clayman" the album was pure bliss and I personally found nothing like it. And they did pioneer melodic death metal and along with DT and At the Gates, in effect created a whole new genre. Can't get more original than that. Even if they have changed.
