Would you say if you can get it it's better to get the friday the 13th box set they put out i think in 2004 or 05 if/when it comes to wanting more extras on the dvd? i heard the extras on these red cover dvd's are not as good as the box set they extras put out

Nice DVD review, EP. I got the first three films as a birthday gift and I have to say that I enjoy them all. The special features are great and finally getting to see 'Part 3' in actual 3D is something I've waited on for quite some time now. I don't like the fact that the Blu-Ray release has all of the special features, but the 3D experience really makes up for it, though. I haven't picked up 4-6 or 'His Name Was Jason' yet, but I'm sure I will in due time. God bless you, my friend.

I would say the most watched would have to go to part 3. But I like the first 5 equally. (they to me are the core group before things went to a zombie jason.

i totally agree, the extra 10 seconds of uncut footage is worth the buy. yes, it's only 10 seconds, but it's 10 seconds of nothing but blood and gore which makes a horror movie.. a horror movie!

How well does the 3d work. I already have the non 3d version but I have a tube tv and am considering getting part 3.

It works pretty good, just don't expect it to look like the my bloody valentine remake (real-D), it will have the red/blue tint to it, old-school! I highly recommend it, it's just good fun!

the remake of friday the 13th sucks balls why do they keep on remaking horror movies in my opinion they cant come up with anything new and if they do it would be a remake of a japanese horror movie the fucking people in fucking hollywood are a bunch of fucking fuckers who can all go fuck themselves FUCK

this uncut version of friday the 13th has been asked for since the 1980s, before now only availble as a bootleg at a comic book conventions or the overseas release of it.

why dont you review the bluray of the first movie, especially if your a tech geek, why wouldnt you have it.

in theatres part 3 didnt use red and blue glasses it used clear polarized lens, so in the theatre you really did get a excellent 3D experience.

remake was rushed.

Only things I liked was the bridge and boat death, jason and his sack and the creepy picture of Jason in the locket.

great review thank you so much for putting this up this movie should have got more respect than it did would you please do a review on the house on the edge of the park it has david hess from the last house on the left in it it came out in 1979 but it didn't get released to the usa until 1984 its a good movie and i hope you can do a review on it.
