I'm looking at this clip and I'm wondering how would a psychiatrist diagnose Rupert and his behavior here, pretending to be on Jerry's show, having that talk show set up (with cardboard cutouts) in his living space...his mothers basement, interacting and conversing with the cutouts, etc.
no doubt the seinfeld writers had this movie in mind when they wrote the merv griffin episode
