  • no doubt the seinfeld writers had this movie in mind when they wrote the merv griffin episode

  • jerr-a-la. LOL

  • The funniest thing about this clip is that I've had this laugh track set as my text message chime and I just now discovered that its from this movie

  • '' what....YEEEEAH HAHAHAHA'' CLASSIC!!!

  • "Rupert! Lower it!"

    "Maaa-aaa!"

  • @bapyou But she was dead.

  • 37 seconds , the best laugh ever

  • @soundbreak7 You pinpointed one of my favorite moments of the film! Rupert begins to respond (a quite impressive and genuine reaction), then he laughs at some imaginary, funny line that only he knows and hears in his head. His laughter then becomes staged and shallow, as if for the TV cameras. So strange.

  • "Don't get up."

    lmao

  • this is just great haha

  • hahahahahhahahaahhahahahahaha oh gerry

  • Great laugh!

  • The best part of the film! 5****

  • brilliant!

  • i absolutely love this movie

  • possible de niro at his best

  • de niro actually did a movie with minelli a while before this.

  • Yeah... New York, New York. Liza has a little role in this movie too, but it was cut out :-/

  • Also directed by Scorsese, 'New York, New York".

  • And Scorcese !Called New York New York I think ..

  • I'm looking at this clip and I'm wondering how would a psychiatrist diagnose Rupert and his behavior here, pretending to be on Jerry's show, having that talk show set up (with cardboard cutouts) in his living space...his mothers basement, interacting and conversing with the cutouts, etc.
