  • Awesome!!! How did you discover what to sample??

  • @Lokourruti He probalby just red the rights reserved section in the album's cover :) it has all the artists that are involved in some way, from there it gets "fairly easy" to find the samples in the artsits discographies.

  • nice men nice!!!!

    respekt!!!

  • HAHA så jävla tufft !!!!!

  • Realy awesome, You almost nailed it 100%

Only part that sounded difrent was when that lady was ''singing'' but I guess finding a song with the exact same lady singing the correct tones can't be done unless you use a sampel from the original song.

but as I said, FUCKING AWESOME.

  • @torba23 this is actually the original vocal :) altho i agree that almost nobody knows this version.

  • Thumbs up if you did come from thepiratebay's facebook.

  • wow, man... big up to you for your skills! big up to the prodigy for creating this monster! this kind of recreation should be done for so many tracks to show how much creativity and effort artists put into it! what a motivation!!!

  • Could you possibly put the multi tracks for your remake up for download?

  • Dude, that's why they named The Prodigy. Respect to you who showed us how they make their music. You are really awesome!

  • Отличный ролик, спасибо!

  • @Divuar Its easy for you to say!

  • снимаю шляпу

  • ахуенчик Джимми

  • Great Job. Amazing - wouldn't have believed where the samples came from.

  • Holy shit, watching this tutorial on how to do it totally got me hyped. I'M GONNA GO FUCK MY DAY UP.

  • O Lord, are you so stupid? all the samples that were used in SMBU long lay on the Internet. Dude just took it and molded zanogo the same track. Mental work done zero. Titanic Nothing has been done, only human myself stuffing a reputation for not knowing the other people. And the Internet is a lot of song titles and artists from where Liam took semly.

  • @BarCircus Nothing is wrong about sampling, its like componating your own songs, it doesnt make a difference if u write on paper, violin play bla bla bla, or if u drag that file in, music is all about the finished product, get your creativity and soul in it, and it will be good :)

  • this daw looks like shit but skrillex mastered it lol

  • How the heck did you figure this out? Identifying all those tracks is HARD unless you know them very well.

  • @espenstoro some of the informations were published on albums descriptions

  • Liam is an absolute genius! Love all his songs! Jim how long did that take you to make that? I dread to think how much that software costs?

  • seriously you got it sorted mate

  • LIAM STRAIGHT UP GENIUS

  • U Fuc**ng rules dude, its an incredible job, i think that u must have good work to on sampling and stuf, u should show us ur soundcloud ... u have a fan now lol c ya soon i spect

  • WILD! I can't imagine how they find this shit and put it together like this! ^_^*

  • Legendary video. I hope you get all the job opportunities and respect you deserve for this. Dunno what's more impressive - Liams ideas and creative sampling, or your brain activity for reverse engineering all of this.

  • Dude, this is just amazing!!!

I never thought I could love The Prodigy more than I already do.

  • this is crazy...

  • Big respect dude ! Awsome !

  • This is one of the best 15 minutes I've ever spent on YouTube. Awesome job.

  • you make it look so smooth!! great choice in song to remake

  • This is so fucking amazing mate! great job

  • reverse engineering the prodigy makes you a fucken Legend!

  • Fabulous tutorial. great job mate!

  • probably some of the most interesting videos ive see in forever

  • I meant instruments

  • that is AWESOME MATE !!!

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ableton is not soooo bad, I think its ok! ....lol....

No! Realy - its a great work - I'm surprised about Ableton and using. Awesome!!!

  • Jim Pavloff un artista de los pies a la cabeza.

    Saludos TheProdigyFans.

  • This is amazing work - Can you please upload another video??? I have watched this 1000 times on youtube

  • @louis077 haha not just me then

  • and that's how to be epic

  • Very inspirational!

  • This is truly exceptional talent at fathoming out exactly how Liam reworked all these samples. VERY very impressed.

  • holy crap!!!

  • ok im a dj and producer mostly i use fl studio and virtual dj to make my beats but now im thinking of learning this one 2

  • What is the tempo you used?

  • My mind is blown.

  • Where to buy hardware Liam used?

  • @grizligrizli0 The correct question must be "Where to buy the head Liam used?" ;)

  • @jimpavloff

even if ya had all the gear liam uses, you would catch it. Just because its his way to make music.

best try to find you own style.

btw he samples a lot, so its not only the gear that makes the prodigy sound so prominet.

  • That is the right question :)

  • @jimpavloff Did you use the 'whosampled' website to find out what songs he used? Great work btw.

  • @grizligrizli0 You don't need that stuff in this day and age. Get Ableton live

  • I dare to say sampling is what made electronic music great. It really opened the doors to sonic experimentation. Look how many genres were invented just because of the sampler. Damn copyright laws killed it :(

  • i cant beliave the interlude of SMBU were bulls on parade O.o

  • wow, really really well done!

  • Why is there even a dislike button on this?

  • Nevermind, found it.

  • *asplodes!*

You used to have a download link where did it go? Please! you had an extended version of the part where the lady sings and it is awesome.

  • *asplodes!*

  • HOW THE FUCK LIAM DID THIS 16 YEARS AGO!?????

  • @stoda85 With Akai Samplers and recorded to 2" tape or ADAT tape. It wasnt nearly this easy 16 years ago. It was a feat to even pull this off then.

  • @stoda85 he time travelled into future and watched this video and copied it :D

  • @stoda85 Reason 2.5 on a mac i think

  • @stoda85 hardware samplers have been around for ages ;)

  • @stoda85 Actually, in 13 days that tune will be 14 years old to the day! amazingness

  • @stoda85 MPC?

  • @stoda85 they call it the "hardware". heard of it?

  • @stoda85 He was fucking around with samples.

  • @stoda85 because liam is genious. prodigy have been on top form throughout there carrier and liam is a master at audio and will forever will be.

  • Well done! My hat's off mate.

  • I dont know who you are but you are AWESOME!

    God bless!

  • people loosely use the word legend...but you are indeed a legend Pavloff! thanks for sharing this with us

  • и где же был автор этого видоса в 1997 году?

  • Anybody knows where can I find VST like the one at 5.08?

  • Oh...I get it now...why didn't I think of that. My head exploded after the 2nd edit.

  • aosdjfkñashfas yeaah!!!!

  • This is soooo fucking cool!

  • This is freakin' awesome!

  • 150 people have brain aneurysms

  • Jim u crazy

  • А вообще , наверное вся биг бит музыка настолько охуенна, из-за того что в одном треке можно услышать множество множество кусков охуенных с других треков.

  • Так нельзя делать. Хотя мне интересно всегда было как бит такой получился :D

  • U are so fuuuucking AWSOME !!!

  • dude its sooo fucking easy.... with respect of corse all you need to do is save the mp3 to the computer with ableton on it then cut and paste.....

  • That Acid Synths abit wrong..

  • Impressive. Were these samples listed somewhere or did you figure all of this out by yourself?

  • man, if i had the brains u have to do this, i'd be playin on neptune to some extra terrestrial life out there. how long did it take u btw?

  • frustrating and inspiring at the same time :-D

  • you are a genius

  • @freestile1

In fairness, Prodigy are genuis's for coming out with this many years ago. But credit to this fella for showing us how it was probably created in the first place!

  • @azune2006 Well he didn't really show us how it was created. he showed us the way to do it with current technology. When this song was made Ableton didn't exist. It predated Ableton by four years. So when The Prodigy made the song it was either done through older archaic software or through hardware.

  • just so cool :)

  • ЭТО ОХУЕННО!!!
