The guitar has a pair of Schaller Golden 50 pickups... A paf copy, but a lot brighter :)

The intro "sei solo tu" by massimo varini was played (in live) using a Fender stratocaster, unknown pickps, with a Brunetti amp...

I tried to reproduce that sound using my carvin V3 clean channel and a Ibanez Tubescreamer with the neck pickup in single of my Fame forum.

In the G-Force, I used a presset with pitch detunning to achieve a kind of "chorus" sound, but warmer and richer.

Thanks for the answer! I like massimo varini's sound, it's very cool! I need a TubeScreamer, he inflate the sound very well. I use a Gmajor Efx: i use detuning to replace the Chorus (i listen the wave in Chorus...i don't like that! )

Yes! That's the key! Dry signal + a little bit detuned signal + a little bit more detuned & delay ... :) That's all... It sounds more complex and rich than the normal chorus...

An easy way to achieve that sound, is to use the "detuned" patch from the Digitech whammy, it sounds perfect for that!

Fame guitars are handmade in poland, they are better than cheap prs, a lot way better.

I've a prs swamp ash special and the diferences in quality are very few.

Anyway, prs quality is very good! and better than Fame ;) Better woods, better finish, better pickups, better overall sound and feeling... But If you take the price/quality ratio, the FAME is a bargain!

How does it hold the tuning? With and without the tremolo in use?

I don't use the tremolo, and the guitar is not always tunned... :s the weakest point of this guitar.

Behringer FCB1010 ... but you can use rocktron midi mate, or a roland midi foot controller ot whatever you want! :D

Yes the g-major has this feature.

But I use the G-force. The g-force also has this feature

This is a swamp ash body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, schaller hardware and pickups...

Hand made in east europe.

fame guitars are cheaper, and the fame custom models have at least the same quality as PRS, if you ask me. the piezo bridge is also an extra feature on fame custom guitars.
