  • get some sleep motherfucker. those bags under your eyes hang down to your chin

  • Wow!

Not surprising ! Fox survives with nuts as Sara Palin.

  • I'm glad the president has no real power, because if Sarah Palin ever gets the presidency(pray to your god that doesn't happen) she would be able to truly turn this almost christian country into a full blown no homo nation.

  • damn I wish Sarah Palin would go away, Seriously though, Zeus has a small penis

  • @TheMassdistortion All religious fuckers have small penises man!

  • Sarah Palin and Fox NEWs AHAHA PERFECT put all the ignorant religious scums of the earth in one spot and Build a wall around them! Muahahha

  • Ask someone what they think of Sarah Palin in 2012. How they answer will tell you some important things about them.

  • also with BlameTheFirst's throat.....MAYBE anus, dunno, haven't seen a pic.

  • Mostly, I just want to exchange bodily fluids with Sarah Palin's throat.

  • Palin needs to get hit in the head and go mute, Making billions happy that we dont have to listen to her speak anymore. My ears cannot take that much crap being stuffed into them.

  • Hey hermit, maybe you should get out sometimes. Staying at home and drinking nothing but liberal Kool-Aid does nothing but rot your brain. Oh, sorry, that has already happened.

If it's a culture war you want, it's a culture war you're going to get. Be prepared to be thrown on your ass!

  • yes... hopefully the ring wingers wont get as progressive as the left wing-nuts and start burning churches (Wasilla, AK), and attacking innocent children (Palins kids), or calling in bomb threats to high schools (Wasilla High School) lets hope those conservative crazy's dont fight fire with fire.................... that just wouldnt be right

  • I love this term "progressive". Thing is, though you support "progressive" ideas and put down ideas that don't agree with you (tolerance isn't big for "progressives"), you never say to what you are progressing. Now, experience tells us you are taking 100 years of "progress" to take us closer to government run socialism (individual run socialism is completely different). Of course, when government runs socialism, that's marxism.

Why can't we "regress" to freedom and liberty?

  • rioting and looting in chile. they're burning down buildings. people being put in prison for stealing diapers and water.

you'll never see these negative images on our white-supremacist network news "government" and brainwashing tool or the KKK-insurgent video posters on youtube because the victims aren't black.

God's wrath will come down on us soon enough for all the evil our media and its brainwashed sheep do.

    "when my time comes, ahhhhh...."

  • God ain't comin dude...you're praying to an empty place.

  • um....they're not black but latino, wouldn't white supremacists be all about demonizing them too? jackass.

  • Palin is an incompetent idiot.. perfect for fox news

  • (cont.)

Now starting from the premise of value relativism that there is no one objective morality one must also conclude that there is no objective Platonic "Good" or objective Aristotelian "telos."

Hence any change (in this case political) can not be towards an objective good -because according to value relativism there is no objective morality to define an objective good. Hence there can be no such thing as progress either. So my question is why do progressives call themselves progressive?

  • Regressives hmm. Now I do agree with you on Palin being nuts with creationism, but let's look at the larger picture and deconstruct "regressive" here.

Regressive is by definition the opposite of progressive. And progressivism is natural an ideological orientation towards progress. But what do we mean when we say "progress?" Progress objectively speaking is movement towards some objectively desirable or "virtuous" goal. But now many "progressives" oftentimes deny that there is objective virtue.

  • I love Sarah Palin.

  • Left On ! Davis!

  • FOX has a gift for co-opting every right wing hick from Rove, Huckabee and now her. I predicted they would hire her before they lost the election in 2008.

  • Did you see her expression when interviewed by Glen Beck? Stewart was right, it was like Hanible Lecter speaking with Clarice Starling. I bet Beck had a woody.

  • I think they're grooming her... albeit if it backfires, no big deal.

  • I started this video and nearly clicked it off. Then I stayed and nearly clicked it off later. Then I stayed and nearly clicked it off again. Then I stayed and it ended.

  • The more Palin speaks, the more her appeal is reduced to some visceral emotion. Except for a few superficial talking points left over from the campaign, she has nothing to say. Even other "analysts" on FOX are describing her sound bite commentary as "unintelligible".

The truth is; FOX is using Palin to boost their ratings at her own peril - which will be considerable as her attempts to slide by with no real effort is compared to the performance of real political "analysts".

  • @Shufflerisms Amen, by the time Palin stops talking, you are wondering what planet you are on. Michele Bachmann is the same way. Ask her a question, and by the time she is done, you are wondering what you asked....

Baffle um' with bullshit is the only thing they know how to do. The thought that she could have been our VP and/or President scares the dogshit out of me!

  • @Shufflerisms Ratings? I thought everyone watched the satire , FOX news like me. I mean it is a joke isn't it?

  • Zeus does a lot better than Sarah Palin.

  • A superior blitzkrieg and megasoundbyte, The hermit lives. Well done number nine.

  • Sarah Palin: The dumbest person who has ever entered American Politics. lol. Man, I wish she would just retire. Sick of her.

  • Are you really sure she is less intelligent than GWBush? I think fox should run a competition to see who is less intelligent.

As for this gentleman's argument for culture warriors, I thought that was the not often to be taken much notice of Bill O'Reilly.

Davis Fleetwood really want Sarah Palin for president, who'd have thought it.

  • @RobertHartlepool LOL! I was thinking that too, who's dumber Palin or Bush. I would have to still say Palin. lol. She couldn't name ONE founding father of America. I think O'Reilly knows she's a dumb ass, O'Reilly maybe arrogant but he's no dumb ass. He has to be somewhat polite, due to her popularity on the right, he works for FAUX news. lol.The ones with education on the right know she is zero material for presidency. Scary shit if they run her. It's scary how popular she is.

  • american politics is a big fat joke because there is way to much religeous influence, if idiots like palin did not advertise that they believ in god so much they would not get half the votes they get even if she had the same political views she has now, to many dumbasses just vote because they are on the same dumb stupidity level as her, it has nothing to do with her political views, they just trust her because she is a creationist, it is hilarious, america needs more education and less church.

  • LOL! These libnuts just can't stop lying about Palin & they're obsessed with her, or should I say "SCARED" of her??

    I smell libtard fear!

  • No, it's just funny rubbing it in the faces of retards how much of a train wreck Palin is.

You're obsessed with Obama, on the other hand.

  • Matt Damon should blow Nelson the Communist Mandela.

  • Communism is no longer relevant, there's no grand conspiracy in the white house to make the U.S. a commie nation. You regressives are all fucking stupid.

Please go kill yourself, you'll be doing the world a favor. Since you're busy slowly killing everyone else with your shitty culture and policy.

  • isn't the neo-red baiting hysterical? THE COMMIES ARE TAKING OVER! suddenly it's 1958 again...except this time there are no actual commies around. thanks Glenn Beck!

  • she is only going to fox to build up her credibility well Faux news will give her all the answers she will apear smarter

  • As long as we allow our news stations to air these shows that are purely made up of opinions, our society will be brainwashed by the ideas of those producing the shows. We must demand that they rename these shows to 'entertainment' instead of news. Perhaps our country needs to pass legislation to define what can be called news. Right now there is a filter on all information reaching the u.s. people that should be called shameless infotainment.

  • I do not call progressives names even though I disagree with them. Calling us regressives is condescending and arrogant IMHO. I respect your opinion , but can we stop the school yard name calling - it brings down your message, lowers the American conversation, and turns others away from politics. thx

  • You can't meet a lunatic halfway.

You and the Right Wing are lunatics, dkimmick.

    Bye bye.

  • good point but weren't the righties busy calling Progressives Fascists for the last year or two?

  • Whats that song at the end?

  • Stalin as Ivan the Terrible, and his "Communism" as Ivan's "Christianity"?

Stalin left hints about the image.

A Russian historian perhaps, neither apologist for nor encomiast of Stalin, might take up the subject.

  • Medvedev does not seem to have the substance of Putin.

    Too much Pink Floyd?

  • The biggest discovery of the Communist Chinese--Capitalism can be channeled into its own destruction.

They took seriously the formula that the Capitalists would sell them the very rope with which to hang them.

  • The biggest mistake the East Germans made was not letting their citizens travel.

They would have lost many greedy professionals, trained at state expense, but most of the best, after tasting Capitalist emptiness, would have returned and have been all the more loyal to what was being forwarded as a human enterprise.

  • The Third Way is a fraud obviously as is "Social Welfare" as Socialism, which is just the Western European stop loss for the collapsing Capitlaist economic and political model.

  • Communism blows

  • It is indeed still a culture war and a war of ideas.

  • An ex-KGB agent with a large personal fortune made in the "Capitalist" excess, is not a Capitalist, and has a future, with or without the fortune.

  • The Russians, whose high culture is prime, are not and will never be anything so empty as "Capitalists."

Among other things, they are not greedily and moronically materialist enough--which is to say, boring enough.

Obviously Russians know this--but are they able to synthesize a meta-Communist economic thesis yet?

Tito had one answer, as did the Baathists in Iraq, and it was these working answers that the elephants felt compelled to destroy.

  • The Russians are great at blowing phony Slavic mystical "we're spiritual & alive, the west is materialist and dead" sunshine up their butts for centuries yet all they seem to be able to create is war, famine, poverty, oppression, mass murder and unhappiness on a titanic scale.

  • In the high plains and savannah of East Africa, obtaining firewood from the scattered stands of timber is absurdly easy compared to many other terrains, even well forested.

The reason is the African elephant which periodically seems to play at destroying trees.

Since the African variety of elephant is a creature of grasslands, the play, or whatever it is called, is economically productive.

The more timber destroyed--the more grassland, and the more terrain fit to the African elephant.

  • Do elephants talk? Indeed they do, as is just beginning to be unveiled to the curious, if fairly primitive creature that is homo sapiens. do they have an oral literature--or epics about themselves?

    This is not known.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Contemporary Homo sapiens is not yet advanced enough in the language and culture of non-humans to know.

  • Do African elephants see their instinctual havoc among the stands of remaining forest as "play" or know it has economic significance?

That would require a high degree of self-conscious about their behavior as a species.

  • Russian economists and analysts of the West might ponder the African elephant in regard to the NATO war against Yugoslavia, which on the surface, and amid all the pretexts of Clinton and PR and the rest, including most of the leaders of the EU, made no sense, and looked like gratuitous, if very vicious and anti-Russian play.

  • In fact it does not much matter what the US and NATO thought they were doing or said they were doing in the war crime that was the attack on Yugoslavia, or what was left of it.

The real significance was analogous to the African elephant destroying stands of timber--to wit, producing conditions that jibed with the survival of both predatory US Capitalism and the seemingly "Socialized" European varieties.

  • It is exactly in the analogy of the US attack on Yugoslavia as African elephants destroying trees that the Russians, now over most of the hangover of the flaws of old Soviet Communist statism, should ponder.

What was it about Yugolsavia that the African elephant that is the US felt compelled to destroy?

When that question is seen in the right light, it will unveil both the real economic motives behind the US and NATO attack, and also provide the key to the US attack and occupation of Iraq.

  • @mopsius

Elephants do indeed talk. And they make a WHOLE lot more sense than jackasses do. And they don't lie NEARLY as much.

Oh....excuse me. I thought we were talking U.S. political parties here.

  • Politics is a banker's game.

If we throw enough money at it, maybe we'll win our right to vote back.

  • "More than 185,000 US troops have been forced to extend their service under the 'stop loss' policy since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks."

    UK Telegraph

Which means that they are in essence draftees.

  • Im going to start my youtube comments with a thesaurus from now on.

  • THESAURUS: 1823, "treasury, storehouse," from L. thesaurus "treasury, treasure," from Gk. thesauros "a treasure, treasury, storehouse, chest," from root of tithenai "to put, to place." The meaning "encyclopedia filled with information" is from 1840, but existed earlier as thesaurarie (1592)...Meaning "collection of words arranged according to sense" is first attested 1852 in Roget's title. Thesaur is attested in M.E. with the meaning "treasure" (15c.-16c.)."

  • Too tired. can't form full sentences. :(

  • good video. Interesting idea.

  • "Markets" have uses--Lenin saw that.

The "Free Market" is an empty myth.

  • At this point Obama and most Democrats are placeholders.

In that they serve a useful function--kind of like tampons.

  • The 60's were naive about "property".

Don't miss the next time around.

  • Begun, the culture wars have. Go Fleetwood!

  • The Kulturkampf began millennia ago, crashman6--it just moves country to country, nation to nation.

You have a lot of catching up to do.

Try Guy Debord on The Society Of The Spectacle for starters.

  • It was a Yoda reference but thanks for the info.

  • Jeje. My miss--but gets referenced Guy Debord.

  • You missed the Libertarian Movement! We don't want to regress into what have seen, and we don't want to progressively give up our rights. We want to be treated like the educated adults that we are. Viva la rEVOLution!

  • Mostly closely akin to the Classic British Liberal Social Darwinists who led Britain into disaster.

    So what else is new?

  • Its not about survival of the fittest and let the rest starve. Perhaps you have been fed some bad information about what it means to be a modern day libertarian. Think for yourself, not for anyone else.

  • Outside of Rothbard, who occasionally says something useful, they--and the mythical "free market"---are slobberingly moronic economically.

The best ones just want to smoke dope legally.

  • Wow, yes invalidate the entire movement because it may lead to a Cheetos shortage. We are not children, I don't want or need a government to make sure I wear a bike helmet. And you are right our economy is not "moronic" at present. We will just keep inflating the dollar into non existence. YAY bernankie all hail his wisdom and guidance.

  • Ah, the same old rant and cant.

What more do you have to say on "competition"?

  • Bastiat, by the way, is not to be identified as proto-Libertarian, except by the unsubtle.

  • "Competition is merely the absence of oppression" "The state is the great fictitious entity by which everyone seeks to live at the expense of everyone else." - Fredric Bastiat. Not a libertarian at all.

  • And?

    You exhibit your naivety, VBraveWomanCandy.

  • That is not a true argument, but an attack at my person. Which leads me to believe that you are at a loss. Thank you for an engaging trolling adventure, have a good evening.

  • "Competition" for BraveWomanCandy apparently defines itself, or at least doesn't bear open examination.

  • And merely by the way, mopsius does not argue or debate.

  • Even though you literate well, your text has no apparent substance. Please continue to comment randomly throughout the night, in a vain attempt to attain self importance. Good Night.

  • Ah, to inquire about "competition" beyond the mere appearance of the word is apparently "without substance", not the appearance of the world itself.

  • word itself

  • Libertarian: Competition!

    mopsius: That's all--"Competition"?

Libertarian: That is an argument without substance.

  • You sir are taking a direct quote I listed from a man you sited ,Fredric Bastiat, and trolling over a definition in its simple form. Not accounting for its intended context. Its like arguing about the exact color of a cobra as it spits in your face. Its a non issue.

  • Actually it is pertinent exactly because it is Bastiat, and not, say, David Ricardo.

  • @BraveWomanCandy

Are you a libertarian? If so, I have a question: why do libertarians stand for personal liberty, but deny the unborn in our society personhood, then couple that with the 'right' of a woman to murder her child? I haven't heard a good argument for this yet.

And I don't consider 'well, our courts have denied them personhood', because Neal Boortz and the other libertarians I've listened to have no use for the courts any other time. Plus he hates on pro-lifers.

  • I am a pro-lifer, However, I think that this issue has been such a sticking point that its blinded the republican party from acting wisely on other major issues. Its not logical to vote solely on this one, however very important, issue. As a woman and a mother its heart wrenching to think of how many babies are dieing daily. I stand for the right to think for yourself, and not be told how to think. Not for the absence of morality.

  • @BraveWomanCandy

I understand something of the sensitivity of this issue. I've been a member of Right to Life for almost 20 years. I've dealt with, helped, and supported women who had to make this tough decision.

Now I'm asking you if you can be honest enough to admit that carrying a child is a totally unique circumstance in life. Nothing else can compare to it. As a mother, you know that better than I do. The life you carry in your body is a separate entity--another human being.

  • @BraveWomanCandy

As I see it, the impass in the argument among honest people, who are not simpy using abortion as 'birth control', is whether the child is a person. Liberals have fought tooth and nail over the years to deny the unborn personhood, apparently making it easier for them to murder the child and not suffer a guilty conscience.

Republicans have tried to push the issue out of their platform. Why should pro-life Republicans sacrifice their convictions? Keep the pro-life plank.

  • For once a Davis Fleetwood opinion I kind of agree with. Amazing.

  • I like your open thinking. I regret your opposition to defense.

  • I love Sarah Palin. She's one of a few women that I would trust in the White House.

    Obama....Yes we can't.

  • That's a bit harsh, the followers of Zeus invented democracy, Sarah Palin made a joke of it.

  • Sara Palin is more retarded than George W. Bush with a dress on.

  • Mammary glands are a Communist plot!

  • All these fucking infants living off the dole, not paying taxes.

  • Completely unskilled, can't even speak English or spell.

  • Really, to avoid cradle to grave socialism, shouldn't Capitalism start at birth.

Make those fucking newborns work. They could crawl in treadmills and generate electricity for example.

Better yet, how about prenatal Capitalism--beginning from conception?

All these fucking foetuses and newborns getting a fucking free lunch.

  • @mopsius

I created "Just say no child left behind". If they do poorly in pre-k all the way up to twelfth, incarcerate their dumb butts! Fisher Price tools are horrible construction tools, but they make lousy shivs, and you cannot convert flour paste into anything addictive.

  • The US schools are prisons yes--were from the '50's on.

The bells trained people to be factory workers (by design). But there are no factory jobs.

  • The school buses are worse prisons than the schools.

  • Clarissimi and humiliores? A smaller and smaller elite? Nah--the US can't last that long the way it is going now.

And the elite has become stupid beyond measure.

  • damn, you're naive.

  • Guy Debord was a brilliant artist and agitator--but even more lasting as a thinker.

It is the Capitalist commoditization of time that is under it all psychologically.

Maybe the Left should go back to building its own separate society underground.

And shoot anyone who organizes a Woodstock.

It seems too OTT even for a Reich-wing tub-thumping bunch of loonies, but maybe they've sussed the GOP psyche ?

  • Wow, do you think if you speak fast enough people won't catch how far of a stretch your "tying" of ideas really are. I mean, sure trying to use a large vocabulary will help hide how little sense you are making but only to those same people who feel Palin is a smart talker. Anyway, I love how you end it, like oh so many other ingenuous people do... and that is asking for money. Laughable.... money for what? The ink and paper you wrote that carp on. Forget it.

Like the typical US Born Again Christian or Neo-Con or Corproratist Fascist.

  • Comment removed

  • David Fleetwood is a fictional character.

There are now no "non-violent ways to a better tomorrow".

If there were, they would immediately be suppressed and very violently.

  • The Right Wing has no problems at all being very violent--bloodthirsty even.

Better put that into your "non-violent" equations, Geoshi.

  • So what you have heard is what a fictional character says the fictional character "believes".

Lots of luck with Metapolitics, Geoshi.
