@spectorman09 see the notes... it is more-or-less the bass line for Cake's version of _I Will Survive_, but I treat it as kind of a jazz thing with a solo. Just messing around!
what are your thoughts on the graphite neck ?? Planning to build a custom bass , Status Graphite 5 string neck + Swamp ash body + bartolini Pickups . What do u think?
@vibhaspatil002 I am a big fan of the old "Steinberger blend" necks. The newer Moses Graphite necks like the one I'm playing here have a nice feel but they sound warmer and woodier; not quite the tone I like, as much.
Swamp ash sounds nice for a bass body; a lot of basses are really heavy. My Steinberger XQ4 is maple, it's very heavy! I'm not sure what the Bartolini pickups would sound like but Iknow they are highly regarded. I'd love to hear/see your bass when it's done!
ok thanks for the reply man . I've been asking a lo of people for advice and most of them agree that I should go ahead with this bass . I'll send you the video when its done .
Whoops. Sorry, godot93, it is actually not a lefty. I screwed up when I recorded the video -- there is a setting in PhotoBooth that flips pictures left to right, and I must have accidentally left it on!
