@hackensac Yes, it was indeed in the book (Though in the book, Centipede's the only one singing). All Newman did was compose the melody for it. That was one of the main problems I had with his review. For his complaining about how the movie deviated from the book in some parts, he himself doesn't seem to know/ remember much about the book.
