The target audience is simply not big enough. It turned out good for them by coincidence because it teaches them english from a young age though.

Haha wie neidisch die alle sind weil die deutschen filme so gut synchronisiert werden.ich finds richtig geil das man in deutschland nicht extra untertitel lesen muss,die lenken nämlich voll vom film ab und machen alles kaputt genauso wie die übersetzung wenn man filme auf russisch guckt,da hört man meist sowohl den originalen ton als auch den synchronisierten und oft werden alle personen nur von einem einzigen synchronisiert..zum kotzen..der film ist übrigens sau geil!!

Can anyone answer me on WHY germans dub movies? You can read right? Most of you even can speak english right? So why do you utterly destroy movies by dubbing? What is the reasoning behind it? You do dub, and you must do it for a reason?
Because its much more comfortable not so read AND to watch at the same time. Of course its possible.
Yes, most Germans do understand English...but i guess not enough to understand a whole movie.
And you also get used to dubed movies...in the cinema i also prefer to watch an English movie in English, but eg. "In China they eat dogs" (a great movie!!) is in Danish...why should i read the translation in german, when i can watch the whole movie in German.
I'm from norway, and I have never ever heard about a movie dubbed into norwegian (exept animation/children movies).
I do speak some german, and have seen huge hollywood A-movies dubbed into german, and that totally wrecks the movie for me. Some random dubbing actors can never compare to the attitude of the proffesional original actors.
Also, viewing movies in other languages with subtitles is an exellent way to learn more/new languages. If the subtitles are quality that is.
it s not the germans that dub movies-it s the company that publishes the movie in germany-and i agree that most movies are better in the original undubbed version.
but just tke it as the way it is-you can change the language on many dvd s so it really doesn t matter.

I have changed my opinion. I do think Germans are some nazifuckers that think their language is the best.

I am a human, and I don't want to hear my own language. I want to the whatever language is the original language of the movie. If I don't understand it, then there's the wonderful invention of subtitles!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god!!! I really don´t understand the problem here! german - danish / danish - german! If somebody has a problem with the german synchro, watch it in danish and everything is fine! German people are NOT stupid!!!! We can also read subtitles! Most movies sound best on their original language and many have been synchronized. It has nothing to do with our intelligence!!! Think about it!

You are right - germans dont "synchronize" movies because they are stupid, they do it because they are facistic nazifuckers that think their language are better than all other languages.
Why else do it? Are your fucking talentless german actors better than the original ones? Cant germans read subtitles? Is it so that 4-5 year old kids can watch adult movies and understand some of the plot?

Offcourse I dont, but I still have a really hard time thinking of one single argument for dubbing movies into german.
Can anyone answer me on WHY germans dub movies? You can read right? Most of you even can speak english right? So why do you utterly destroy movies by dubbing? What is the reasoning behind it? You do dub, and you must do it for a reason?

Because its much more comfortable not so read AND to watch at the same time. Of course its possible.
Yes, most Germans do understand English...but i guess not enough to understand a whole movie.
And you also get used to dubed movies...in the cinema i also prefer to watch an English movie in English, but eg. "In China they eat dogs" (a great movie!!) is in Danish...why should i read the translation in german, when i can watch the whole movie in German.
btw, most other countries also dub movies.

I'm from norway, and I have never ever heard about a movie dubbed into norwegian (exept animation/children movies).
I do speak some german, and have seen huge hollywood A-movies dubbed into german, and that totally wrecks the movie for me. Some random dubbing actors can never compare to the attitude of the proffesional original actors.
Also, viewing movies in other languages with subtitles is an exellent way to learn more/new languages. If the subtitles are quality that is.

it s not the germans that dub movies-it s the company that publishes the movie in germany-and i agree that most movies are better in the original undubbed version.
but just tke it as the way it is-you can change the language on many dvd s so it really doesn t matter.

Companies dub movies into german because it sells better to the german people, if it didnt - they wouldnt do it.

I am sorry to inform you about this but it is actually german that has copied a lot of the danish words. If you look into the history of different languages you can see for yourself.
But danish is still an ugly language. I should know. It's my mother tounge. It doesnøt sound good. But on the other hand. Neither does german...
