I have a major problem recording with Fraps. You see, my game runs in a small 300x220 window (But displays it as a fullscreen game in full resolution when I play). Only problem is, it doesn't do that when I record it with fraps. It shoves the game's window into the upper left corner, so that the upper left corner has the tiny 300x220 video, but everything else is just black. Is there a fix for this?

how do you reduce lag? my FR will be up around 100-120 on say, Team Fortress 2, and i hit the hot key and it drops like a fat kid off a building man..its ridiculous. the lag kind of disappears when you watch the file after it was captured but playing online when its recording vs when its not recording is wayyyy too much. any advice? please and thanks! id really like to start making some vids!

@snugglebear97653 the framerate when you play a game vs record it is vastly different. Usually, the framerate you get when you play a game will match the refresh rate (or some multiple of it) of your monitor.

When you record, you choose a framerate to capture at (60,50,30,custom), and if your pc can handle it, you will be seeing that for your drop in framerate. If it lags below what you specify, chances are, your pc cannot handle the load.
