hardcore is alot of fun and is on console, you have to go into the server browser and select it in the filterand it will only show you hardcore servers in the browser

but you will be lucky to do well against scrubs using the famas unless you can get headshots quickly due to the whole recon kit being underpowred

@nikefreak01 In this video Enigma plays on a Hardcore mode server, thus always one shot kill. With normal game modes one shot kills are not possible, unless they've been hit before or you hit them in the head.

@ironsaint2331 it is called being aware if you go back a little before 3:11 if you look under the wall you can see a moving shadow and if you look on the map then you can see that no one on his team was near him so he assumed it was an enemy taking a pre shot through the wall to stagger the enemy and then popping up with th g17 to kill him so no he wasn't using aimbot it is called skill

The difference between the SV98 and the M40A5 is how quickly you can chamber a round in when pulling back the bolt. Having straight pull bolt on all bolt actions, the M40A5 chambers rounds slightly quicker than all the others, which makes it my favorite rifle for aggressive recon

for the m98b is the lowest damage it will go to gonna be 59 at any range? If so, then a hardcore hit with the m98b from certain ranges may not be a guaranteed kill. Is that right?

@emelerud suppresion doesn't do more damage, it increases the suppresive radius of your rounds and time that an enemy is suppressed (if you didn't know, suppression is when your screen gets really blurry and you can't see well). however, health doesn't regenerate without a medic in hardcore so if an enemy took any damage in that life the sniper will kill at any distance. 80 meters is a pretty good range too, its longer than you think.

@howlbig in hardcore mode, you have 60% health instead of 100%. so all sniper rifles which do more than 60 damage per shot, is a gaurantee 1 shot kill.

The tanks use HEAT which is rendered ineffective against newer NATO tanks...and the Abrams also would prevent the crew from having fatal injuries due to it's safety features. One of them keeps the crew safe when the ammo blows by adding a hatch. One of the more realistic ones could be Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad. You get shot once and you'll bleed out if you don't bandage it, and the tank may deflect rounds and your crewmates may die at times....

the M98B is the best sniper rifle in the game... its got one of the best iron sights and the longest range which allows for less bullet drop in closer (200m) ranges. Just the other day I lucked out and shot a gunner and a pilot out of the same heli with 2 hits

i dont disapprove this game style, but it reminds me a lot of CoD.. BF is more tactical and this is CoD in a BF jacket. I like the clip it shows that you can be a close up soldier with the sniper kit, but in BF sniper is more a support class from far away, you wont get a lot of kills, but you'll help your team

@ViolentNation113 i agree its very CoD like but i say why should you have to snipe at long ranges. it gets very boring and you get very few kills especially in a normal server, and the only time when your useful is when you snipe people off objectives. so i say rush get objectives go back a bit(100 meters minimal/ maximum depending on your game type and sniper)

The thing with the bolt action sniper rifles is the the bullet traveling(the amount of time from the trigger being pulled til your enemies brain vacates the skull).

the SV98 has a normal bullet speed The M40A5 has a slighlty higher speed The M98B has a highest speed and the L96(Back to Karkand) has the higher speed than the M40 but less than the M98.

There are bolt recylcing speed differences aswell. Here are the speeds slowest to fastest:

M98B-SV98-M40A5-L96

M98B has slightly less range.
