  • very nice deadlift

  • mad props on not slamming the weight....way to keep that tension!

  • great form, great weight, lots of reps. i must say, very nice! keep up the good work man!

  • NOW I GOT IT!!!!!! to be a monster at deadlifts, one must wear MISMATCHED SOCKS!! hahaha kudos man, hope to lift like that someday!

  • @chiooh2 lol its the secret!!

  • Nice work man. Quick question. Do the two different socks help with the lift?

  • @DTS1300 not really, just having flat feet helps me. I've since adopted using wrestling shoes.

  • @bryce126 hahahaha I was just bustin balls man. I always see dudes going shoe less but i have yet to try. Do you feel like it helps?

  • @DTS1300 lol i didnt realize they were different! yeah it makes a leverage difference for sure.

  • How were your shins after that? Haha, love dl's hate leg hair getting caught up on the bar. Good lifts man!

  • Sick dude!! High rep deadlifts are a wonderfull mass builder!

  • Good form, Impressive lift!

  • Epic form, good job

  • i bet his back is damn near broken that was all back

  • thats 1 deadlift not 15. its called DEADlift for a reason

  • nice form man!

  • good job man ur a monster check out my 325 pound one leg squat vid :)

  • I'm working on my dl form right now and I'm wondering something. Do you make sure that your hamstrings are really tight at the start of the lift, similar to the way they would be when you're at the bottom of an rdl?

  • @dman519 not really...I kind of mentally focus on my quads and back as I'm deadlifting heavy. Not sure if this is the best thing to do, its just what's been working for me.

  • @dman519 If you focus your quads then you are leaning to far forward and putting to much weight on the ball of your foot instead of the heel, thus making it harder. The entire body is in motion with this exercise, and seeing as how most injuries with it occur to the hamstring, i think its safe to say thats one of the most used muscles. Focus on tensing the entire lower body up and pushing through your heels before you engage the back for the end of the exercise.

  • i think yor mother needs her wrist wraps back

  • @marshall3615 I think you shouldn't assume. I currently hold the APA 181lb deadlift world record.

  • @bryce126 Oh really? LOL.

  • @bryce126 what record is that? Im 181 and i want that record! ;)

  • @bryce126 I bet your world record isn't really world record. Word a "world" means a lot more than USA territory. Take a plane to Russia, go to first gym and tell them that you're 181lb deadlift world record holder. You'll find dozens of guys who'll smoke your world record like you have never been even lifting.

  • mad form bro, keep it up.

  • Ton of weight, hopefully I will get there in a year or so.

  • fuking awesome man

  • Nice one!

  • You are right in there bro, you just have to speed up your reps a bit.

  • @dapowerlifter09 Why? :/

  • @TheHyroi Because the faster the rep, the less time the weight will put tension on your muscles. Especially for high rep sets in going for a PR, faster reps=more reps.

  • @dapowerlifter09 Listen to your body mate. You want some tension, or you don't wanna build muscles? Don't do it too fast but not too slow. Too fast can be just as dangerous.

  • @khalsasikh im curious what grip you use to get 10 reps before your grip gives out, at what weight.

  • @smats42 I use the double overhand grip, which is much harder than alternating. The reason I got used to double overhand is to prevent the possibility of a biceps tear which is common and devastating with the alternating grip. The double overhand, I learned by accident, is possibly the best thing to develop world class hand strength.

  • @khalsasikh i just started doing double overhand without straps as well, for shoulder comfort. very challenging but fun, much more comfortable than alternating grip. good point about the bicep danger, i hadnt thought of that but it seems obvious now.

i did a 435 single(not much weight, i know) double overhand no straps. im looking forward to trying more eventually.

thanks for the info bro. peace

  • @smats42 I wish I could double overhand...but I have shit strength when it comes to that grip

  • @smats42 I weigh 225. I guess I've got you on bodyweight. I don't use straps because I like the effect on my hand and grip strength. I got down to about 182 in the past, but that was too thin for me.

  • @khalsasikh hey bro i noticed you are into training grip strength on your profile. im interested in training grip strength while recovering from hernia surgery (no heavy deadlifts for a while). i have some ideas but im curious what you would recommend because you seem interested in grip strength. any suggestions? thanks bro

  • Nice work bro

  • Great form and using a grip without one facing away is extremely difficult. Very well done.

  • he bounced up and down on the floor weight

  • @arnoldponiegdajniebo that is no bounce

  • @muzimuzi i know, sorry ;/ he's realy good!

  • @arnoldponiegdajniebo lol @ "bounce"- 405 doesn't "bounce", it's not a rubber fucking ball

  • @Dertygian lmao let him know bro
