Love this version because it is very stripped back and raw the complete opposite of Depeche Modes original. If they tried to sound like Depeche it wouldn't work! Like both bands. But KEane have 4 very different sounding albums so they have the edge!

Okay, fair enough, it comes nowhere close to Depeche Mode's original. But lets face it, no one can really make this song better than depeche mode themselves. Mike Shinoda and Linkin Park came CLOSE when they remixed it into Enjoy the Siilence 04.

But that being said, when I first heard this, I thought cool, two bands I really like doing a song i LOVE, wasnt impressed at first but now, I really like this cover. Sure it's not perfect but they're giving homage to a band they like!
