I'm from UP let me just clarify that UP got 5 all-in-all, UST has 8 and FEU won their lone crown back in 1998 (UST did not join the competition) this is a public site so be responsible...wag mag-post kung di sigurado sa sinasabi =)

8 lang yan including nung early nineties, nung cheering LANG ang competition. U.P. won the first ever CHEERDANCE COMPETITION..nag-iba na ang criteria starting nung 1998. U.P. innovated all the difficult moves and also costume-wise (they wore the first jazz pants in place of the girlie skirts).5 pa lang CDC crowns ng UST not 8.

5 pa lang titles ng UST sa "CHEERDANCE" nag start yan sa Nestle Non-stop and U.P. was the first ever winner of THE "CHEERDANCE" competition. Iba yung early nineties, palakasan lang ng cheers and simple pyramids lang yun. May titles na rin UST dun pero that doesn't count sa CHEERDANCE COMPET. Tignan mo nga yung video ng UST last year, yung announcer niyo na nagsabi na "5 consecutive" na ang UST...and you were routing for a double grand slam.

Have to agree. I hated the camera work by Studio 23! May director ba sila? If you watch cheering competitions on espn, its almost a full camera lock most of the time. Its for the judges din to playback mga moves. Eh ang Studio 23, puro close up lang ng magagandang cheerdancers. Very showbiz. Hindi pang sports! Yun lang. Mabuhay UP!

Para sakin deserving pa rin lahat ng nakapasok sa top 3. Magaling ang adamson pero puro stunts at walang choreography. Ganun din ang ateneo may kulang din at walang WOW factor. Ang FEU bumaba lang ang score dahil sa huling pyramid nila pero tingin ko deserving pa rin sila dahil makikita pa rin sa kanila ang intensity ng performance. Choreography, formation, cheer, synchronization yan ang meron sa FEU na wala sa adamson at ateneo. Congrats UP, UST and FEU!
