  • Hi, I would just like to say that you are really incredible. This series has really helped me out a lot. I've basically gotten a whole web page going just for watching up to this point. You explain things so clearly and descriptively it's hard not to understand :P And if you were wondering I'm only 15 :3

  • 15:00 is where i left off.

*(this is a note to self)*

  • The most awesome lesson I have ever come across!

  • Awesome instructions, easy to follow. But a lot to learn!

  • i never add comments but....superb videos. thanks so much. i'm just gonna go ahead and finish watching them all.

  • I've run into a problem with the second template (shears-fullwidth). When I go to apply the template to the services page I don't have the option to apply the template, only detach the current template. I tried deleting the source code and applying the template to the blank file but it still would not show up. Any ideas?

  • so far so greatful :-D but after created the second template when I try it in firefox or safari the nav bottoms are blue and as a bullet list :-(

  • Is it possible to insert videos instead of pictures?

  • I gaining a great deal of knowledge from your course. Love how the video takes you through each aspect of creating a site with Dream Weaver I'm new to D and found it had more power than I realized. Keep up the good work..

  • My (home, about, products, services, contact) icons turn green when i open my page in a browser ??? Please reply

  • @Blackjackkkkkkkkkkk lol had that too! I just made all the hover colors etc etc black again, then everything was black, edited again and sure enough they were the right color and weren't green xD might help :P

  • Great tutorial, bought the framework, thanks!

  • It is an awesome tutorials. But I have a problem which is the Save as Template is not active what I should do?

  • @salman1401 You're probably in Live View. This is a minor bug in CS5, Live View prevents Save As Template. Turn off LIve View and things should be fine. -- Joshua

  • it is not in live view and all the features for the Template is not active either @createthenet

  • @salman1401 Problem is here: You are in Style.css not source code tab

  • It previews well in firefox but not safari for me. The "topnav" doesn't work in safari.

  • I have to say that these tutorials are awesome. Definitely worth spending $20!!!!

  • ok u can go into my profil and watch that video there :D

  • You're making an additional template based off the first and expanding the width of the column and deleting the right sidebar. You have two templates now. But in the future, if you want to make changes, say to the navigation (the colors or whatever) or the image banner, do you have to make those changes on both templates now??

  • Do you check to see how your page looks in all of those browsers?

  • @articPeterPilz

    I've noticed this as well.

  • Hi Timothy,

Your tutorial is really great. The clear steps you lay out and your use of repetition really makes me look forward to watching the next video. A lot of times when I'm learning something I'm dreading the next lesson, but with your tutorials I'm actually anticipating it!

  • Great videos. Im still following and Im very happy I found your videos. Much appreciated.

  • Everything has worked perfectly up until this point. When I click preview in browser, all of the CSS styles are missing! Live view seems to work fine. No pictures, icons, etc. just words as if we were in the pre-CSS videos. Please help! Thanks

  • @cwaltezza Hi, i'm hoping you can help me out because im having the same problem when i click to preview in browser. Did you ever find the problem and how to fix it?

  • Pedercino mamu ti jebem!

  • @9TheJohnny6

    haha

  • @godzi91 :D

  • like how theres so many views in the first couple of videos in this series and so few as the series goes on.

  • I don't have a "main" page. i made all of my content originally in the Index page. What can I do now to create a new template? I don't want to change my index page?

  • surely when you delete the code that eliminates the need to detach the template?

  • Hi there. The tutorials are really good, hit a problem though, Ive put all the correct code in and the border shows up around the images on the design view, but when you preview in firefox or in iexplore the border does not show up, then you exit the preview and click the image the border then disappears on design view, but when you exit dreamweaver and then open it back up, in design view it is there again, but if i try preview again it does the same! Please help!

  • i got confused, index and main? WTF

  • @elvisniperx main is just your foundation page where you create templates from and basically the whole blueprint for your website, main wont be seen by visitors its just purely for your design needs. index is the home page where you apply templates too and obv the first page people visit on your website

  • @jedimaster1534

It's because you're in Live View. I had the same problem.

  • @ChannelOfBass Thanks SO MUCH!

  • @ChannelOfBass thank you a lot! Was going crazy here ^^

  • I totally agree about investing the $20 for the framework, for all the learning you get it's a total bargain! I'm getting more out of this than the college course I took.

  • I think I know why I'm having problems following some of the elements you're doing. My doctype is transitional. and you're not using any doctype, which I have no idea how you can do that. At this point I'm just guessing that's what's wrong with my code.

  • In the image gallery are we about to use the gallery to do a video gallery? also if you hover over the images/video can we make it a video preview?

  • In the image gallery are we about to use the gallery to do a video gallery?

  • Your tutorials are awesome. Best on youtube. Can't thank you enough.

  • Thank you so much!! Really really enjoying these videos. The $20 you ask for the files that goes with these is soooooo worth it. Spend a little bit of cash everyone and reap the rewards.

    Thank you....thank you....thank you!!!

  • Very good tutorials
