A person who bases their views on other people's opinions shouldn't call themselves "independent view". NoMindOfMyOwn would work better for you.

I didn't say I based my opinion on how many people watched a show. Her ratings are a means to measure how many people believe she has a good argument. Almost half the people who once watched her have decided they don't like her opinion.
I didn't force them to go elsewhere, People watched her show and decided for themselves it was not worth watching.
