  • so glad i didnt see this before I got this surgery, also glad that i was under the whole time. i never would have done it if i saw this, but i'm so happy that i had it done. there's still some swelling in my ears and it hurts to touch them... and it when i touch them i cant feel it on my ear,, only on my finger, but they look amazing. i already feel more confident.

  • What the fuck?! tomorrow I'm having this surgery and I'm soooo damn scared right now...

  • ok, so...I really don't know why I was so scared about this...it didn't hurt almost at all...they prescribe you painkillers, and the sleeping part, I don't know it was pretty hard the first... let's say 3 days, then you get used to it. I totally recomend you to do it!!!!

  • Who the hell cares if you have big ears ?? I mean i'm 14 and I haven't been teased after 3rd grade. My friends aren't that fags to pick me up. Besides you can just get a short hair which goes behind your ears and something like that, and then just mess it up !! You guys are being such a bunch of bitches about the way you look -,-' !

  • Carefully choose the surgeon. Don't choose according to the price. Ask him to show as many before/after photos as he can. I made a big mistake. After otoplasty, my ears look much worse.

  • i had this done... and a little more plastic surgery done to the front of my ear.. and i must say absolutely magnificent job!!! i love my ears now :)

  • What the HELL is happening here?!?!!?!?!??? I'm getting otoplasty in 5 days and I don't want a randomer turning my ear inside out and then taking all the guts out!!!!!!!!!! Is this REALLY otoplasty?!,!?!????!!?

  • I have really pointy ears ;P but I don't care enough to get surgery, I would probably get slagged of more by my mates for being so self conscious than having pointy ears in the first place! lol

  • absolutely horrifying !! ah!

  • wow em..damn this scared me a lil but i really wanna get mine done so bad duno hw much it costs in australia tho

  • I had mine done two days ago while I was awake. I am getting my bandages taken off in two days. SOOOOO excited!

  • @XXCuttieeXX what was it like when you were awake? did you feel anything?

  • @sedod66 I was not under anesthesia. I started to feel a dull pain about two hours after the surgery but it was manageable. Sleeping the first couple of nights was definitely the hardest part for me. I was prescribed pain medication that I took every couple of hours. You should be fine :)

  • @LOLaureNOM how long do you wear the bandages? Thanks

  • @Cx3Pink i had mine for 10 days:)

  • im 15 and got this surgury about 3 weeks ago now, all im saying is if you feel you need to get it done, is do it! there is not bad pain tbh! the only pain i got was when i got home after falling asleep and the day after surgury, thats all, and of course the odd stings. it is uncomfortable sleeping, i didnt get any sleep for about 4 days but then i found a position that was super comfy! when i got my bandages off it felt soo nice to get them washed and they now look great!-hope this helped!:D

  • when he used the scalpel to get rid of the unneeded cartilage i thought, "oh okay not so bad" but then he started working his scissors all up in his shit and all i could think of as i cringed was "umm.. OUCH?!"

  • 3000 pounds? Holy shit! Come to Bulgaria- it costs about 600 euros and the surgeons as good as everywhere else, if not even better!

  • this isn't a doctor, this is a butcher...

  • those are some big ass scissors

  • DUDE im about to get mine done. Holy shit lol

  • FUCK THAT.

  • so gross!

  • @squirel483 I am 14 as well and my parents suggested I get it done. It hurts ALOT the days after

  • @AGPrincess7117 How's sleeping after the procedure? I'm 18 and I regret waiting this long but I'm finally going to take the plunge.

  • im 14 i have protruding ears and would like this surgery, but im not sure the best way to go about telling my parents. i dont know how much it would cost and how to follow it up. but i am mostly worried about how they would react, ive never really spoken to anyone about it and have only started looking into it today. has anyone got any suggestions about any of the above please reply soon as you can.

By the way i live in england

  • @squirel483 I got a plan, grow some balls, and demand your parents for you to get the surgery, say it will give you more confidence and boost your self esteem

  • my ears aren't as bad as some peoples but they do stick out abit when i tie my hair up,im worried incase i have to go back 2nd time incase something goes wrong, also can u tell you have had it done ? do the blood tests before hand hurt? i have a phobia of needles haha ?

  • if you've already had this surgery, is it ok to get it again? i got mine done about a year ago but one still sticks out more than the other, if its not possible its fine, they're alot better than they were!

  • I assume as long as you clean it like your suppose to, everything should be fine. im going to make sure my surgeon does this procedure often and has good results.

  • for anyone who has had this done, how long do you have to wear the bandages for? or how long until you can look "presentable" in public again?

  • @caroline4231 About one week. It depends on your cicatrization

  • ahaha i had this done yesterday

  • I would really like to get this done. My ears aren't 'too' wide by I still feel self-conscious about them. I actually don't recall ever being made fun of about it, but as a guy who really likes to have a nice hairstyle, I don't want my ears putting it off. I've actually come across a situation where I couldn't replicate a particular hairstyle because my ears would stick out, or alter the flow of my hair. Now I have short hair, and my ears are just too obvious.

  • @Kelnoctis If I did do it, I'd feel really self-conscious about the damn bandages.

  • my sister done this and she looks like the joker only uglier cos she has a half turban and she cant wet her hair xD

  • Am I the only one who think's it's really clever how this is done? Surprisingly simple. Cutting away some skin and pulling your ears back.

And can't forget the dancing at 5:00 xD.

Definitely going to look into this.

  • have had my done two weeks ago and one of ear is still swallow they dont tell you much about what about after is done how long you have to wait to fell good about you new ears

  • I`m glad i didint wached this before surgery :D 2nd day for my still bandaged dint hurt at all hurts more when some one piks on u, and this hurts more at dantist :)

  • i had it done, doesn't hurt at all

  • ...omg... my ears hurt just watching that.

  • great... now im terrified .

  • Ughhhhh I cant believe I went through with this!!! Good thing I didnt watch this before my procedure!!

  • that is so disgusting but I am considering having it done. Can anyone in the DC area recommend a good surgen?

  • man i got really nauseous while watching this.. Really nauseous..

  • im getting that! im so freakin scared!!

  • @Lioridir1

    dont be

i got it done and im a child ;)

it is sore but its worth it.

i had to get it done on both ears ;)

anndddddd had to get a stitch removed a year later , so i doubt you'll end up as bad ;)

  • I cant look at this... :-(

  • does it hurt?

  • shit! haha i cant belive wht i did haha :D scary

  • This is why you should refrain from stretchin beyond 0 ga, kids.

  • had mine done about a week ago. God, i'm wondering where i found the courage to watch this, as long as my ears are still in pain. Well ofcourse during the procedure i didn't feel a thing and it didn't last long, 1 hour and something both ears. Now im waiting to get rid of the bandages and return to my normal life again. (hope the final resu;t will please me, the day after the surgery it looked....let's say....weird....) But i'm positive! :-)

  • this looks very painfull , but i think da is a great thing to do this kind of jobs ! i wish i can do mine .

  • Just had this done yesterday.

Soooo glad I didn't watch this BEFORE the operation...

  • Its a pain for the viewer rather than the person being operated...

  • had it done when I was about 10 yrs old. I'm 30 now. glad I had it done at a young age. About 2 weeks with bandages, nearly fulled healed after a month or two.

  • im gonna get mine done as soon as i get the money!

  • how much did yours cost? i wanna do mines soon!

  • just had the bandages taken off today, it was a painful week but im not gona lie, it was way worth it!

  • @sam9m this is freaky, isn't there any other methods of doing it lol..looks so painful..did you feel any pain at all while they do all this or do the anesthetics work good?

  • @rfuzzyj nope no pain when i was having it done. i was totally asleep :)

  • @sam9m Didn't they give you painkillers later?

  • @sam9m

    i know yeah.

got mine done twice (2nd time there was a stitch popping out so got it removed)

    last year

it hurts but is easily worth it ;)

  • @sam9m how much was yours worth? im planning on doing mine soon.

  • @sam9m much much did the whole thing cost?

  • @anqi1998 cost me £2,500 :P

  • @sam9m how much did your procedure cost ?

  • @blayneification £3500

  • i want and need ear surgery but that doesnt help any

  • i just want to know, when they are doing the opperation, at the end how do they know that it is looking the way it is ment to be looking.? at the end of the operation you might still have big ears.

  • shit.... i'm getting mine done some time in july, can anyone tell me how they put you to sleep? Shots, medicine, ect?

  • how long does this procedure take? what is the recovery time?is it done under full anesthesia?

  • pengting19 i got my ears pinned back 10 weeks ago and the first 2 weeks were very painful but now i can almost get bumped around and get back into football i hope you enjoy the results.

  • @ilovebrooke202 hi did you put a downpayment on the surgery or did you pay in full? If you did can u plz tell me how much it is i need to get a feel of a price range cause im getting a job and might pay it monthly.

Additionally, did they give you non removable stitching if so what did he say about that?

  • My friend is having here's in about 10 days and she is really excited. I told her that her ears are perfect, but she is saying she is DEFINITELY having them done, it looks like it will be sore after the anaesthetic wears off!! by the way, thank you for the demonstration now i know what she means when she says cutting the back of her hear (part of it to a rugby shape)! oh yeah, is it true that they could be VERY un-even ? thank you xx

  • @pengting19 dude just think about how good you will feel about your self or better yet think about it twice I just had it done and their not that bad Im on day 6 of recovery and they are quite swollen but to some extent i regret it somehow. Like most people thought it really didnt matter but its all up to you. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who matter don't mind and those who mind dont matter " Wise words from Dr. suess

  • @egtresident ok thank you for that....im stil getting mine done just trying to save up for it....i can do it doe. and i can't wait...it's just always on my mind, and it always puts me down everytime i look at my reflection its just killing me inside =[

  • @pengting19 I feel ya man this happened to me all the time well the swelling is coming down now and im not liking how the guy did them they are too close to the head and the right one looks different from the left one I know symmetry was not going to be perfect but man this guy made them look real different So browse correctly and make sure you are doing the right decision ,, I regret it now and kind of wished I had my old ears back ....

  • @egtresident well had mine done and its been great i had them done 4 weeks ago and they re-size the earlobes pinned back my ears and now i feel really confident and since then i got a better job

  • @pengting19 Don't be scared man that was long time ago,now surgery has progressed since i'm telling you this because i have the same problem and im gonna resolve it in about 4 months in a hospital because i heard that they do it better

  • @pengting19 YUkkkkkiiiii
