The lead raisin on the commercial was Antowaine Richardson. He sings with Seattle's own "The Main Attraction", who perform around Seattle occasionally still, and whose CD's are still available. He was filmed and the raisin was animated from the film, so it looks like him, and those are his expressions, as well as his singing.

I got the full version of this commerical along with the Raisins commerical with Ray Charles singing "Heard It Through The Grapevine" with the Raisins along with "Meet The Raisins" tv special.

I moved from my parents house and dug up some old vhs tapes that we recorded movies off of network tv back in the 80's. This 15 second clip happened to be on there. Crazy eh?
