You should weigh your car before and after an event, to see how much weight it gains from all the mud stuck to the bottom. Glad you're having fun, that's the most important part, the speed will come with experience.
@DucDucSTFU It's the MOST fun. Only problem is within a few days of a 'test you've massively got the itch for another. My calendar generally puts me at them once a fortnight :-(
