@aznativethug Actually whites have everything so i wouldnt blame black people for wanting something of their own. Its not like many black movies get the chances to be nominated for oscars as much as a drama about causians. Even movies about gays ( milk, brokeback mountain) are oscar nominated and winning films. Just like india has bollywood films for thier own culture of people. Who wants to get passed up for doing a great body of work ? no one. So people start to make their own award shows.
