  • Can not stop watching all these Van Ryper clips. Fabulous!

  • @angiedi70 without a doubt. They are great and I am loving them.

  • it's really cool watching footage of them before they broke. i think carter came out of the womb kicking ass.

  • if only these people knew they were listening to a grammy winning song

  • Haha good save around 50 second mark.

  • all ther stuff was a work in progress at this point....this is their first real gig don't forget.......its a free festival?....lol you gotta love it....this stuff is vintage......

  • THANK YOU!! whoever posted this. So great to see DMB in their early years.

  • thats not a mess up he changed it since then :-p

  • where did they mess up?

  • I had no idea that this song dated all the way back to this time.

  • Who ever video taped all 11 songs from this festival is a genious. This is DMB I'm trying to get my hands on. Only been a fan for about 3 years and wished I loved them from the beginning (too bad that woulda been impossible because I'm 19)

  • I'm a little older, but I feel your pain.

  • hahahahaha so true

  • I dont know man i kinda like how he drags it out a bit....adds some flare and spices things up.....haha

  • hell yea cellibrate your so right who ever made that first comments if a fucking fucktard!

  • Stouggies, thanks for sharing this (and the other Van Ryper '92 clips). It's so cool to see these.

  • best video ive seen in a while.

  • who is the guy on the keys? doesn't look like butch thats why im askin

  • The guy on keys is Peter Griesar. He was with th e band until March of 1993 then quit becasue he didnt want to tour all over the country with the band because he felt they weren't really going anywhere. Guess who made a mistake...lol

  • Wow. I guess that dude is bitter as hell now.

  • he screws up a little in the beginning lol :)

  • he was great then, and so much better now. Thanks for sharing this!

  • yah this is real old school u guys shouldcheck outthe live warehouse on here its ancient too. its live in a record store! u couldnt dream of that now lol

  • Dont talk about the weather....cnt see te light. and let out...aby!!!

  • the talent's there, though, you have to admit

  • Shit... this is so OLD! The song is so unfleshed out... this is kindof bad lol... but historic.

  • they go on to win a grammy for this song....awesome

  • ancient

  • I wonder if dave still owns that sweet purple sweater

  • I cannot get over how bad DMB sounds. It's like carnival music.

  • Peter Griesar in the back ground (old keyboardist)

  • lol daves voice is so different, really twangy, his voice really improved over the years

  • Its funny seeing people just cusually walking by like nothing's goin on!

  • where'd the really low sax part go? that was my favorite part of the song. oh well. great stuff.

  • This is really early DMB, maybe Leroi couldnt afford one back then?

  • @Stouggies i think in the road to big whiskey documentary lillywhite talks about how they were thinking of an idea how to get this song sounding crazy, and LeRoi said "i could get a baritone sax" ..

  • @ShawnyMartin

I think you are right, I remember hearing that, but Roi had already been doing that before hadn't he?

  • Wow, this is pretty old school. I wish I would have been there. First live Two Step and all.
