  • the s ,s square root of two is not a 30 60 90 its a 45 45 90 , can you double check? please

  • bahahaha zoom mathaukkaa lol nice videos by the way i apriciate it :) need this for next month

  • Nice video

but u should nt say the triangle look familiar,u should bring the hypotanuse by phythagorean theormso u can prove he triangle is

    thirty-sixty-ninty"

  • Great help man! U make a great tutor and best of all you are affordable. Thank you for your lessons.

  • Way to get Z with trig functions w/o recognizing a 30/60/90 triangle. Since we're looking for Z, & you have the oppasite side & the adjacent side (sohcahtoa), you'de use arctan to find the angle. tan(pheta) = O/A = 1/(sqrt(3)). Now use arctan, arctan(pheta) = 1/(sqrt(3)) = 30. Answer is 30 degrees.

  • you're amazing! Thank you so much im taking my sats on december fourth and i'm sooooooo relived i found you YOUR AMAZING YOU SHOULD GET PAID!! omg i love you

  • @Flashybabe7 Same with me i am taking SAt on Decemeber 4th..And i kinda suck at writing and reading..mind giving me site for reading and writing tutorial..this is my first SAt and last one.. :(

  • This one can be solved in under 5 seconds. It's drawn to scale, so just use your fingers to compare the known side to the unknown side. They are exactly the same length. Ta-da.

  • @WellConditionedChimp I dont understand ?

  • @webeee01 use your thumb and forefinger to gauge how long the side w/ a length of 6 is. Pivot your forefinger onto the tip of the unknown side without moving your thumb. You'll notice they are the same length. Add up all the sides, 6*5=30

  • OMG thank you dude, you're videos have helped me out so much. You do not know how much i appreciate your videos, thank you. Now my dad doesn't yell at me anymore about math. lol.

  • In problem 9 on page 425, is there another way to find z, after you have two sides, without using a special right triangle? I was taught my special right triangles in relation to the unit circle....so I'm not sure I would be able to relate the two. I know law of sines wouldn't work...since the only known angle would be 90...

but instead of me deciding what wouldn't work...maybe you could help out with another method that would?

    thank you!

  • Oh, just kidding trig functions

    you just said it

Wow, i really should've figured that out :S

    thank youu

  • Thank you thank you thank you!!! You are helping understand so much!! Keep it up!!!

  • i DONT GET HOW YOU FOUND Z IN PROBLEM 9 IN PAGE 425 I NEED A CLEAR YOU JUST RANMDONLY THREW ANOTHER TRIANGLE WITH S I DONT GET IT !! HELP

  • nvm got it

  • you didnt explain why x equals 45 because not every isoseles tryangle has 2 45's and 1 90
