@lujas10 Yes they did....fool!!! It took some time to find this...Chuck Berry on BBC 2...definitely during his best period, not too young not to old. In the 50s the sound hadn't yet developed that hard edge live, and now...well I'm sorry but he should have retired. Students like me in the 70s were suddenly aware of the real gems of genuine rock 'n roll. And the lyrics were just delicious...as John Lennon said...Chuck Berry was the absolute rock and roll poet. His lyrics are underrated.
