If you want to add sparks. not the lethile type but just for show as they do not get hot enought to be any ... much a threat. use 12 or 16 gauge shotgun shell powder in the oval flake looking powder this powder will propell itself like mini rockets and can be blended into the mix quite well. I used to take empty 30/6 or 30/30 shells and pour bird shot powder 12gauge. Into them and ignite it. Was like a fountain of cool not over exxessive warm sparks. Avg reach a good 3 fet high.
