  • awesome

  • this song totally reminds me of the good times while in college at florida state university. dave was the link between my tampa friends and tallahassee friends. he completed my college experience with this song...oh the good times...

  • Does anyone think they'll officially release the beginning of their career on cd (the live songs like this) since LeRoi's death?

  • DMB The Early Years would be sweet!

  • @chasingthemoon what do u mean, they have released every song they have ever recorded in the studio live. There is a very good version of BOWA live on Warehouse 8: Vol1 if you are interested

  • No.... They haven't. I know for a fact that there are songs recorded before they were big that have never been officially released recorded by local fans- and some that don't even have names. I mean every live concert they've done is recorded since they were famous, but if they'd eventually release them all with alternative lyrics, etc.

  • @chasingthemoon check on DMBLive they have a couple albums from the early 90's, like floodzone, but they dont have the supper early stuff like me and julio or ABC Jam or anything that old. But I might be misinterpreting what you are saying

  • That's what I meant. Thanks, I think I knew about DMBLive (I go on DMBAlmanac often) but I haven't looked. What is Floodzone, a concert area or song? I bought a CD from eBay and a song from a 1993 show didn't even come up on anything when I searched the lyrics. I did mean that I wished they would personally release the specials like Me and Julio, etc. eventually.

  • No Problem, and Floodzone is an old venue in Richmond they would play at when they first started, and yes that would be cool if they remastered those really early songs but if you dont have them they are all over the place, like in torrentz

  • @jdenni237 They have! look on DMB's website and search for DMB Live. They have the Floodzone show and a bunch more really early shows. they even have a dave adn tim show from '93 :)

  • @metalzep786 no im talking about REALLY early like Trax from like 91. Songs like people people and Julio, and i know, i have all the DMBLives

  • @jdenni237 how bout dreams of our fathers

  • @stateradio017 Its unfortunately never been played live

  • @jdenni237 that was my point

  • @stateradio017 haha sorry, it was hurting my argument, ALMOST every song has been played live

  • thanks man!

  • This is the Dave I miss. I was born in 88' and I was a fan when UUTAD came out... I was 6 years old. It was my 1st cd EVER! I miss those days... Keep sharing your music with us dave.

  • thats pretty cool, considering my first cd was hanson... or the spice girls or something like that

  • I was only 6 in 93, but the funny thing is I had the first record RTT when it was put it that year. I think a cousin got it for me...

  • tim may be in drop d or a completely different tuning they do that often like when they jam lie in our graves tim is flat and drop d at the same time its so awesome

  • Man, I was still in high school at this time, before I'd even heard of DMB. Sad days those must have been. :)

Thanks for all the retro DMB posts!

  • I was 3. I win.

  • Man, I wouldn't be born for almost another whole 3 months.

  • is it me,or is one of their guitars out of tune?

  • Yeah, Tim's is on purpose.

  • A Dave and Tim audio from 93...damn thats nice thanks.
