The old testament carried the history of the slaves and the guidelines by which they were expected to live. That's why the slaves were banned from obtaining knowledge contained within the old testament. Furthermore, that's why the Apocrypha was taken out of the bible. The 1611 version KJV carried it, but our KJV's of today are the revised versions dating back to 1769. I don't know if you're familiar with any of that, but check it out. It's some pretty deep info.

Research this fact: The slaves were not allowed to read or be read scriptures from the Old Testament. The object was to seperate them from God as far as possible and even more than meny of them already were.

how y'all gonna say the Old Testament is obsolete?! The key to everything you need to know about how to live in the Old Testament!! Jesus said himself that he didn't come to do away with it, but to fulfill it. Our history and way of lifeis in the OLd Testament! People need to quit sampling the bible and making new remixes with what they like. If the word don't convict, then assume it perverted.

Jesus freely gave us the Gospel. I am quite dissapointed that Mr. Lewis has enforced a copyright law on the truth that God gave him on hip-hop music. Eveyone cannot afford to PAY for your videos so are they not worhy of the enlightenment that these wonderful videos give? Please reconsider your stance on God's Word being FREE to all! The videos are so good for my 12 year old son to hear ... now he cannot view them. God's Word is FREE please remember this.

Grace and Peace! Gods Word is free. However, even God requests a tithe. Which has nothing to do with His free Word. You must understand that G Craige and any other minister that has a product that is GOOD needs to make plenty of copies. That costs money. Besides it's only $20. Thats dirt cheap! And you can Bless someone else with it, by inviting them over to see it. Or even lend it out. I've Blessed people with Bibles that cost upto $25. Thats not a loss but a possible gain 4 the kingdom

Well first you have to realize that the main purpouse of the neweament was for men to understand that salvation is Universal. It wasnt to show somone playing a musical instrament. Thats why the newtestamen was much smaller than the old. God excluded much. Next, you have to realize that a psalm is not only vocal but it could be plucking of or patting of an insrament or hard surface.

And more so it wouldnt make sence for a psalm to be in the same verse with making melody in your heart, because a psalm isnt just vocal either. Theres no other way around it. I said the old law... Not prophacies. What does for our learning mean? Is it profitable or not profitable? Circumcision is was apart of the old law. But prophacies from the old testament are not LAWS. Jesus even quoted some old testament laws.
