As great as Kingston Town was I believe Tulloch had the edge on him when you compare their respective three year old form. Tulloch was running world class times - and it is likely that no horse ever to race in Australia would have beaten him the day he won the Caulfield Cup in record time and such dazzzling and amazing fashion. Also his Caulfield Guineas win that year (1957) was freakish and Kingston Town would definitely have finished second again.

Ah come on guys how could u rate him above PHAR LAP ? No doubt kingston town was a damn champion but phar lap is a legend and i think its not fair compairing pharlap with kingston town.

i seen kt,won from 1200m-3200m as a 3 yo,he had a real motor & big heart,throw in any you like,kt wouldve been a champ in any era..
