  • "Little near-sighted mama."

It gets me every time. XD

  • Back when Cartoon Network was awesome and had the best shows... now it's crap.

  • I remember watching this!! Man, I love old CN bumpers and ID's. The 90's was a good time to grow up :)

  • I think I remember this ad. Wasn't there a follow up where Dexter tries to hit on Velma, but he gets rejected when Johnny comes in and picks her up instead?

  • shaggy is going to be pissed

  • Johnny Bravo doesn't get rejected, the girls never know what to do when the most manly man hits on them.

  • wish there was networks that ran all 90's things 24/7. including commercials.

  • ....they're taking off the episodes on youtube???

  • @IceEyedBlackWolf Cartoon Network owns it, Copyright Material, they have a right to take it off.

  • @GameAtHeart Yeah, blah blah..

  • @IceEyedBlackWolf And even when 3 Months pass, they're still taking them off. Although some are coming back which I made playlists of Eds & Johnny Bravo.

Though they can be removed again, which is why you watch on other sites besides YouTube for Free Cartoons to this day.

  • I love the 90's.....the beginning and ending scene of the diner is based of "Nighthawks" by Edward Hopper.

  • I ship it.

  • ahhh <333

I'm officially in LOVE with this pairing!

  • Its funny they keep reviving Scooby Doo, but Johnny Bravo? This is not the type of cartoon to leave in the dark

  • Thank you once again,TV Tropes for providing me with useful links!

  • Awww

  • i remember being in elemetary school anticipating cartoon fridays everyweek

  • aww my childhood

  • Poor Johnny

  • Only classic cartoon network could have gotten away with bringing all cartoons, new and old, together in a massive network... and making such outrageous crossovers like that, with all of them...

  • omg 2 stupid dogs

  • Ohhhh, those were the days. <3 What I'd give to be a kid again.

  • Oh my, my childhood, where did it go TOT ?

  • Dumbass Cartoon Network Inc... they got a video deleted by reporting copyright infringement... how fucking ridiculous is the whole "That's my video & it's copyrighted!" thing!? Fucking retarded!!!! Who gives a flying fuck if it's copyrighted, people should have a right to see the shit on YouTube. If you're such a loser that you go around reporting people for infringing on your copyright, then you deserve to DIE.

  • Please rate thumbs up if you want to bring the old cartoon network back!

  • My favorite Cartoon Network commercial. Great concept: at late hours, in a bar, surrounded with lethargic persona like himself, Johny Bravo reveals his past moments of joy and sorrow to us and the bar tender Fred Flinstone. Back then Cartoon Network had originality, it had the ability to connect characters from different show (this ID) and make it interesting. Today, the so-called CN has nothing. It's cartoons lack spirit and it doesn't matter if they're graphically better, they're just bad.

  • This video reminds Johnny of heartbroken times, that's why he disliked it!

  • wow nostalgia just smacked me in the face

  • This is when CN had personality and charm. I mean, they have a few good shows like Young Justice, but nothing has the humanism of the old CN stuff like this.

  • 'little near sighted momma' lol

  • Oh my... someone disliked this...

    KILL THE SPARE!!!

  • @LwillStrip4Cake must be a 10 year old who watches Cartoon Network's current retarded cartoons. :/

  • @RamzyRizzle

For sure it is. I'm sick of what kids are watching these days.

  • lol wth johnny

  • Omg I haven't seen this for 10 years... Goodtimes... I wonder what happend to the original Cartoon Network that we all used to luv...

  • Johnny Bravo is sexy :) <3

  • It's been a running gag at Cartoon Network back in the old days, in that they paired Johnny with Velma, among other things. I was so fucking obsessed with that girl back then...

  • Ah... Two stupid dogs, that was the stuff.

  • Well, despite that in the show Johnny didn't like Velma at all and chased Daphne, this is still an awesome crossover commercial. Just like him to go after Melody at the end there, though. = P

I love how Cartoon Network used to have all of the characters interacting with each other between shows, like they were actually a huge working community. They were so clever about it.

  • What year is this from?

  • @Admercial 97 or 98

  • *Likes 800 times*

  • There's a reason nobody's disliked this :)

  • Comment removed

  • I like how they spoofed Nighthawks in this commercial.

  • man, the last time i watched this was way back in i think 2000. all that we have now on cartoon network (i hate calling it CN) is shitty shows like johnny test and ben ten.

  • This is Johnny Bravo in a bar telling a story about how he hung out with Velma Dinkley as his date from "Scooby-Doo", Johnny wanted her to marry her,but she can't due to her career of Mystery Inc.

  • Goddammit Cartoon Network.

    Why did you forsake us?

  • i remember this way back in 1998? if im correct

  • Johnny at least now you get the pussycat girl.

  • Johnny. You aren't the only guy who loves the glasses wearing brainy girl known as Velma

  • Greatest 1-minute skit animation of OWL TAME

  • Cartoons back then look so cool!

  • Velma is hot.

  • @BBoyPhreshershist YEAH!!!

  • i miss the good cartoons, trying to find the episode where johnny says "THERES A CLOWN ON THE WING!" but the only one i found cant be seen in the uk

  • Velma did have a crush on him in one episode of Johnny Bravo.

  • @Johnny2071 YEP!

  • hahaha Johnny and Velma.. Hmm.. NO!

  • He has a better chance with Melody. At least she doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body to hurt him, nor the sense to know that he is a pig.

  • •both johnny and velma drop their glasses•

Velma: My glasses! My glasses! I can't see a thing without my glasses!

Johnny: My glasses! My glasses! I can't be seen without my glasses

  • @Magik0722 lol wasn't that in that episode where scooby doo and johnny bravo crossed over. i think johnny's aunt was trying to scare him away and the gang took it as a mystery.

  • Yes! Love for Velma! That angelic, brainy butterfly needs love!

  • @Squirrel36 7UP, JOHNNY BRAVO!

  • lol going for a Pussy Cat, another detective show if im not mistaken, if am blah

  • lmao so he goes for melody of the pussycats

  • old cn good new cn bad i could just cry

  • lol Her You Go NearSighted Mma ROFL

  • Here you go nearsighted mama.

  • Hey, did you know that Johnny Bravo Season 1 is coming to DVD soon ?!

I wonder if this promo will be in the special features section ?

  • I never thought Bravo felt that way about Velma.

And another thing, does anyone have that special promo of Velma and Dexter ?
