Too bad donating to charities suck, since most of them pocket the cash for themselves. I normally give cash to the a person right on the spot, no third party allowed ;)
You definitely do have to be careful when donating to make sure it's a reputable charity: there are lots of scams around online.
The cool thing about Child's Play is that instead of just donating cash, you can actually pick out a toy or video game or whatever from the Amazon Wish List of whatever children's hospital you like, so you know exactly where your money is going.
That was awesome dude. We need more Medical Staff and more funding for our Hospitals too. It sucks being like 7 years old and in a boring Hospital bed for 3 Weeks "that was me with some problem with my lungs they corrected 100% BTW" and if you have something to take your mind off the time/your illness and where your at then - IT'S A LOT MORE EASY TO HANDLE.
For all the children who are sick/injured right now and likely can't talk, type or are too young to even read: THANK YOU AND ROCK ON!

And I'd donate if I had money myself, but at the moment, we're kind of in the slumps too. But I will, as soon as I can get me and my mother stable, donate to this charity and help out the best that I can.

Because of this, it's now one of the few reasons that my Anime Club here at college is co-sponsering an event with another organization on campus and we're holding a Smash Bros. BRAWL tournament where the money we collect from entrance fees and donations will all be donated to Childs Play Charity.

This is a great Cherity that everyone should donate too. I am a member of team 448 and we just recently raised over $2,000 for child's play. I'm glad you guys are helping them as well.

also, its a good idea because of companys like Toei Animation and TV Tokyo who'll go around taking videos down because of copyright and them fearing we'll make money out of abridging. Its a good way to show them what we aren't trying to cause any harm. I for one love the idea, and I can't seem to get off this video because i want to see what people have to say in the comments.
I'm posting a video responce right now. I cant donate anything because i'm still at the age where i'm doing my Sats and early GCSEs, so I wont exactly have much money, let alone a paypal account. I could ask my parents to donate something but then, i'm still thinkin about that. So what i'm gonna do is post a video responce that no-one will watch and hope that it could replace the few $ that I could've given.

Actually I donated on the abridged community's behalf just recently. I donated somewhere around $20 to a local family who needed help to bury their child who had died a day after being born. The insurance company wouldn't cover the burial expense but the local place that the parents worked for said they would cover it by taking donations from it's patrons. We donated on behalf of all the abridging community. So if I donate again I'll b sure to PM u =3

Hey, Hbi2k, which amount will you count if we used an Amazon gift certificate- the total before the gift certificate or the total AFTER the gift certificate? (2 brand new baseball video games on the way to DC, by the way!) ^_^
10 dollars. it doesnt sound like much but when you think about it its alot. you only have to make the videos once (and you already did) and even if only half of your subscribers buy it, you would still have at least $25,000. And about the charity, I'll gladly give 10 dollars when I have it myself. (And I'm not just saying it i got like 50 bucks in change i need to cash in)
I got a new system for Christmas had it for six months and it got stolen and then I got a new one on my Bday(which is in June) and it got stolen two weeks later. I haven't had one since. So I counter with "God I hate Birmingham"
I usually don't donate to human charities, I usually donate to animal shelters, ASPCA, etc. but I watched this and then I saw my little niece run by and I thought "Wow, what if it was her in the hospital?" SO! I'm donating $5. I know it isn't much, but it's all I have right now.

Admirable, truly. Helping those who really need it is never a bad idea, and it should get the abridging community some of the respect it deserves. And for those out there thinking entertainment is a poor focus for a charity, let me tell you I'd rather live than survive any day. Thanks, hbi2k.

also, its a good idea because of companys like Toei Animation and TV Tokyo who'll go around taking videos down because of copyright and them fearing we'll make money out of abridging. Its a good way to show them what we aren't trying to cause any harm. I for one love the idea, and I can't seem to get off this video because i want to see what people have to say in the comments.

I'm posting a video responce right now. I cant donate anything because i'm still at the age where i'm doing my Sats and early GCSEs, so I wont exactly have much money, let alone a paypal account. I could ask my parents to donate something but then, i'm still thinkin about that. So what i'm gonna do is post a video responce that no-one will watch and hope that it could replace the few $ that I could've given.

Actually I donated on the abridged community's behalf just recently. I donated somewhere around $20 to a local family who needed help to bury their child who had died a day after being born. The insurance company wouldn't cover the burial expense but the local place that the parents worked for said they would cover it by taking donations from it's patrons. We donated on behalf of all the abridging community. So if I donate again I'll b sure to PM u =3

I counted the total price of the two games-- I figure no matter how you pay, you're still giving up money you could have used on your own self.

10 dollars. it doesnt sound like much but when you think about it its alot. you only have to make the videos once (and you already did) and even if only half of your subscribers buy it, you would still have at least $25,000. And about the charity, I'll gladly give 10 dollars when I have it myself. (And I'm not just saying it i got like 50 bucks in change i need to cash in)

I got a new system for Christmas had it for six months and it got stolen and then I got a new one on my Bday(which is in June) and it got stolen two weeks later. I haven't had one since. So I counter with "God I hate Birmingham"

I usually don't donate to human charities, I usually donate to animal shelters, ASPCA, etc. but I watched this and then I saw my little niece run by and I thought "Wow, what if it was her in the hospital?" SO! I'm donating $5. I know it isn't much, but it's all I have right now.

I would say all your videos together would sell for about $120, if you go by how normal anime sells.
I am going to donate my whole pay check to Child's Play, it is only about $60 bucks but that's the best I can do
