Not a single mention of NC State? They finished stronger than any other ACC team at the end of the regular season, and they are returning a bunch of starters including last year's all-ACC 1st team QB.
Yes NC State was one of the stronger teams towards the end of the year in 2008, but they have to show that consistency throughout the entire season. Also their defense was statistically one of the worst in the ACC. If they go 4-0 to start the season, which is a very realistic possibility, they will get their due. Until then, I remain skeptical.
Consistency? Then why do you talk about Miami, UNC, and Wake Forest? Those teams weren't consistent at all last year. Heck, UNC only won one of their last 4 games and that was against Duke!..not to mention all the yards their defense gave up last year. Consistency? What a joke of an argument. Funny how State needs to start off 4-0 to get recognition from you, yet other teams get it just based on recruiting classes and hype. Smells like shallow, biased journalism to me.

I really think that Georgia Tech will dominate I think they can finish in the Top 10 for remember the Georgia Vs. Georgia Tech game last year he basically destroyed a team wiith a good defense an I really like there coach with that Triple Option but I hope North Carolina does good for they lost there 2 best WR in the draft but everyone knows Ohio State will win it all! hopefully

Georgia Tech has John Dwyer but North Carolina has crazy fast LB's and a good QB also I think a sleeper shouldn't be Miami for they are very young and pretty good but I think Maryland is a sleeper but who do you think will be the best freshman?
Thanks for the comments JaBronie. I know that Miami isn't really a sleeper anymore, but that haven't been too good ever since the loss to OSU in 2003. Now with Randy Shannon, they can contend for an ACC title.
A freshman to keep an eye on is Ray Ray Armstrong for Miami. He was recruited as an athlete but the Canes have got to find a way to get him on the field in '09
