I have no idea why that guy was so harsh a few posts back. If I heard you guys playing like that in a background scenario like those gigs usually are, I'd stop and check it out!
Sounds like it was a club/party venue, not a dark, smoke-filled jazz club, so the playing worked for me. Sounded more casual and chill as opposed to "tasteless, sloppy, and out of context"
Is that a loop in the solo, or is there someone else on the gig?

Jim, if I were you, I'd only post clips that sound good. Instead you post your "jazz" playing.....and Jim, it's tasteless, sloppy, and out of context.
Try listening to jazz trumpeters...not pyrotechnic trumpeters, but real players. Maybe some of that might rub off on you.
