@gstonegraphix The Chinook definitely is not a 3D helicopter. Multi-rotor helis don't turn or fly the same as a pod and boom heli. When the Chinook turns it rotates on the rotorhead. A pod and boom can use the tail rotor to swing the tail out. It makes the heli a lot more maneuverable. On the other hand I don't know if they can fly inverted. I'd like to see if that is possible.

@Garon1999 He built it himself by creating a styro-foam mock up, coating it with resin and then building a multi piece mold onto the foam. Then he used the mold to make a fiberglass body that was a suitable platform to reinforce with aluminum and add the mechanics to.

yes but as the test flight shows, its not very stable. When you get it going properly i want to see it fly.

When you are that close to the ground you are in rotor wash.

It's much more difficult to hover 3 feet off the ground than 20 feet.

If it'll fly at 5 feet off the ground with wash pushing it all over the place it'll definitely fly at height.
