@stoneandpaddy yup that sounds like me - always arriving just before dark :) love it up there! missing it this year, but did the trip last august. broke down on the return south just after spending 3 days in whitehorse...

euuhh the permafrost is 4 feet deep... so even with a thermarest it's cold... get your tent on a platform.

i went there in 1996 great river near the campground... fishing artic grayling for dinner! :-)
