most likely scenario---Bulldozer won't come with out 2 other things linked to it.

first off bulldozer is most likely going to be LGA, with a twist on the board capable of supporting am3 chips. hence am3+

if you were paying attention the new Opterons are LGA, and bulldozer is top down. server first. hopefully march-may

My XFX HD 6870 is the best grapics card I have ever had! I have had it for a month and never heard it once because it is so quite with catalyst controlling the fan speed instead of some broken 3rd part app that comes with some of the cards. It runs well over 50FPS all the latest new games perfectly and Heaven Benchmark perfectly with my Q6600 intel processor. Can't wait to upgrade my mother board and processor to AMD Vision Black!

Yes you need to enable AHCI in bios if you are using SSD

Its probably the 1100T which is nothing special in a rig like this because you can go ahead and stick the 1090T in there and get the same performance. Might be a few broken hearts when you reveal the cpu and its just a useless 1100T....especially with Bulldozer right around the corner.

Don't use the H70, use a better looking waterblock for the CPU and also for the GPU with red tubing, that would be the ultimate AMD build

I have two HD 5870 in crossfire x as we speak on the same board. However, the system is running them at 16x and 8x.... there both, side by side starting from the closest expansion slot near the cpu. The manual provided by asus says the configuration of two cards should be placed (starting from the closest expansion to the cpu), in the first slot and third. The crossfire bridges that are provided with the g-card and motherboard are too short! Where can i find a longer bridge to span the gap!?

The exact wording in the ASUS manual is as follows... alot of the on line videos reviewing this board state the slots as as the first three being X16.

"In CrossFireX mode, use the PCIe 2.0 x16_1 (red) and PCIe 2.0 x16_3 (red) slots for PCI Express x16 graphics cards to get better performance."
