Actually Caprica was awesome. But the story was too slow. With all these storylines being awesome and that last episode ("The shape of things to come") being so intense and emotional and a hint for former BSG viewer to recollect their previous view about how they imagined the cylon rebellion before, I felt betrayed. They showed us the best preview for an upcoming story, that Caprica could manage to show us in a second Season. Centurions... Gang rape the Syfy asshats. So say we all.
" Are you alive ? " Sister Clarice's next to last words in the series. Caprica Six's 1st words to the officer on duty at Ragnar Anchorage in BSG. Coincidence ? IMO, no.
"And may the asshats at Syfy forever get gang raped by Centurions. So say we all." SO SAY WE ALL ! All the Caprica fans shall crush the ones who first gave them hope !
If you mean the exact song for this episode, I don't know. But the main song from the show is just called the theme. I doubt they'll do a second soundtrack since they're off working on Blood & Chrome.
Oh ho ho ho - there's a Gibson reference at 25 seconds - the white cube on the table. In "Neuromancer" by William Gibson (the book that created terms like "Virtual Reality", etc), the AI Wintermute is an A.I driven by a desire to merge with it's "sibling" A.I Neuromancer to form a powerful "super-intelligence". And it appears in virtual space as...a white cube. Nice reference!
if only they gave this show more time. i am left with a couple questions though. we'll never know what happened to tamara; and after a speech like that, did clarice think the cylons wouldn't try to kill all humans, including her?
@bomblast2000 - As in, Clarice was trying to get on the Cylons' good side ? Interesting idea. I always thought Daniel & Clarice were polar opposites, pretty much.
Of course, the series' potential is only realized in its final minutes. But man, what a brilliant ending. And I want the Caprica soundtrack right frakkin' now! Bear McCreary is an incredible composer, and this sequence is proof of that.
Bear McCreary is a true genius. I don't know how he does it but he always always delivers. His music beautifully and fully completes whatever it is accompanying. Battlestar and Caprica are excellent stories, but they would not be half the epic saga they are today without his music. Tonight I raise my glass to him.
@AthenisKS81: Completely agree with you and what better way to end than with a rousing speech by Polly Walker... I sincerely hope that the producers find some way of exploring some these season 2 developments using a clever plot device in Blood & Chrome.
YEAH!!!!!

@bomblast2000 after a nuclear war, and 150,000 years, I don't think it matters what happened to her.

@knoxvilleguy2 I was referring to what clarice put lacey through during the series and now lacey is clarice's boss.

AAaaaah you cut off the last note!
The part where Zoe rises from the goo, gasping for breath, just gives me chills. This is such a beautiful sequence.
