Mr. Appliance Tips: How to Clean Your Dishwasher

I had no idea that powder was better then gel. I bought these fancy gel pellets that you put in and now the last 2 times part of them have been sitting at the bottom of the dishwasher. I am not sure what to do. I am going to try to put in vinegar now to clean. Why do they sell them if they are bad? And her DAWN has their name on them. Bummer, I bought a HUGE box of them too.TY MR. Appliance Man.

i have a blomberg dishwasher and it did the same thing but then i used different dishwasher detergent and it worked i use finish powerball for detergent and jet dry turbo dry for a drying agent, now you can eat off the cups and plates with the spots but if you get a sinkful of hotwater with 2 cups of vinegar and put you spotted eatware in it for 10 minutes, the spots should come off if they dont, scrub them with steel wool made for scrubbing dishes

i have a maytag and all my dishes now have spots on them as well as my knives forks spoons how do i get rid of all these  spots and build up on my glasses and is it bad forr you to eat food on these kinda dishes with spots?
