    Well it's in Canada, if you want good CS in the states you gotta use a credit union.

    If you want your money actually stored instead of being gambled on, don't use a bank unless it has positive savings*, or basically any credit union.

    *Most banks have loaned out more than they have saved, which means they can sink and you'll loose your money, HSBC is good, most Canadian banks, good ones scattered all over the world, Islamic banks are safer than most american ones lol.

  • @HWGuyEG thanks for the info. i know a good credit union that my parents use called riverbank. so much better interest rates with savings than actual banks. im thinking of putting some in there if i ever am able to save any money :P

  • i had the same reaction when the phone droped my call, and another time when they cut my power even though i paid i knew they were gonna come up with some bullcrap excuse to make me pay more

  • This is why I always use internet billing. Soooo much easier. Unfortunately not everywhere offers it. Call centres should be destroyed in a firey nuclear radioactive explosion of greasy doom.

  • @Lostfaith1980 yeah sometimes they specifically have the call center for it to be more difficult. like if you need to cancel something (xbox live, magazine subscription). You know you're gonna have to speak to someone you may or may not understand in india, so i procrastinate more. Its not that it bothers me to talk to them, they just get mad after the 13th time i have them repeat the same sentence.

  • That is so true! I had to call the company for my External Hard Drive and the place took 2 hours to get a person and then they said because the hard drive broke it MUST have been because of me so "policy is void."

  • @jmdwow thats f'ed up! i think i have to call xbox live (in other words india) to cancel my xbox live year subscription that automatically billed me...i dont think companies should be able to automatically bill you when they are something thats not a necessity!

  • i totally agree with this vid, as a UNI student i have to deal with students loans, it took me 8 phone calls to order the forms and 9 more to find out how to fill them and 12 more finding why it took so long processing. one time i spent 4 hours listening to a nokia phone version of bathoves 5th. only for the oporator to tell me, "i'm sorry, but we are now closing, please ring back tomorow when it is best for you." they then hung up... and it was a sunday the next day so they where still closed.

  • Also, I know someone who worked as a phone operator/ service rep for cell phone companies and he was actually what they call an "Escalations Specialist" so his job was to specifically deal with customer's who had reached the end of their rope and were losing it. This man confessed to me he sometimes left customer's on hold while getting stoned or taking naps in his car and regularly disconnected calls. Sometimes he intentionally made mistakes or pretended not to understand people for amusement.

  • No joke? That's really is messed up. I had my suspicions though.

  • Very funny! I absolutely dealing with those automated systems and how all the live operators are foreign because we outsourced the jobs to India. I used to have to contact account services for Mervyn's credit cards holders all the time and the phone operators were often quite rude.

  • I hear yah. I was inspired to do this after one of my coworkers was on the phone with the DMV. I Also really did just pay the power bill before that. :P
