Wow, remembering...1996..21 years old....listening to this version on CD on my Walkman while listening to mt modem signing on to America Online! ...... Sexy voice. Love this version!
THUMBS DOWN to this! I remember being PISSED buying this album and the original RADIO/VIDEO release wasnt included nor could I find it! The original radio/video release had the Hacker Digi feel she wanted to portray for MOD @ the time as a final release, but the album was launched b4 a final track edit could be done.... this funky town shit is garbage!!!
its funny how this song just gets to u...funky beat!!!i did the exact same thing after it came up on the endcredits of the muvie i came rite online n lukd for it=))
@83KINGSLEY exactly what i was going for. i knew iwasnt the only one who enjoyed this version of this song. as soon as i saw it wasnt on youtube i hadta put it on=)
lol i thought this was the original version. It's completely awesome. I knew about Poe before I saw the movie and when the end credits rolled I was like "holy shit it's Poe!"
i don't know if this was the original version of the song, but it's definitely the one featured on the album "Hello". amazing singer, discovered her along with some other bands like "artificial joy club" back in the day... ah, memories.
when i firts heard this song was at the end at that movie stir of echoes,i quickly went to the internet and look for it,....now my sister loves it too....everytime we r drunk we play it and we dance like f idiots
I bought this CD single when it was released back in '96/'97, and it has this along w/ the grunge version. The grunge version doesn't sound bad, but this version is way better. I don't have the album, but I always thought this was the original version of the song.
@MoviesTubeYou0675 You are correct, it is. I had the CD in "95 when it was released, long before "Stir of Echoes" was ever released. Most likely MTV bastardized it with that crappy grunge version for ratings.
THIS IS the original version, in my opinion, cause it's the cut that made the cd. I Love Poe.

Just finish watching Stirs of Echoes, until this ending credits.
This reminds me of Suzanne Vega's of Tom's Diner alittle.
