@majg12uk the reason people keep asking more about the sexuality than the story is because the story is not very interesting- it's sullen and awkward. this is similar to every other indie drama that equates long silence and sparse dialogue with 'tension-building'. also, it's silly to complain about the concern with the sexuality, when at it's heart, the movie is about hormonal girls experimenting with each other. and to pretend you are somehow above the sexuality of the film is just plain silly.

I remember feeling that way when I was her age, and it felt so tragic. Everything about this movie, the acting, the music, the emotion, the silence, the tears, it all is too familiar to me. Just saw this on netlix. The style is very slow,subtle,subdue,but the emotions convey is still very strong. Very different from the typical teen movies that comes out of hollywood. Which likes to have overdramatic scenes and convey nothing.

This one is a very good coming of age film. I love the ending
