  • aww. so cute. what other animals do they have? any mammals?

  • @WorldWideDiscussions They do have a few. Monkeys and I think Prairie Dogs. Otherwise it's mostly birds and reptiles. They do have flamingos you can feed.

  • i went there today!! Great

  • All the birds seen here are rescues. SJG is a rescue facility. They only accept animals that have been abused, abandon, or injured. There wings are clipped so they may allow these captive birds to enjoy the outdoors and not fly away and harm themselves. Oh how I miss them soooo much. Good job on music, great video, thanks for allowing me to see them again.

  • lol at the first macaw 'who turned the darn sprinkles on?'

haha no sure why thevev clipped there wings in aviray...beats the point

  • sad parrot :(

  • Also, that is not molting (the bald chest bird). That is a condition related to stress, heredity or boredom - they will pluck out chest feathers. Common to see in rescued birds or neglected ones. Sometimes, though it happens regardless of the environment.

  • The one is distributing the water on its feathers, aka dancing. Clipping the wings is common for hookbills in captivity to prevent them from flying away, or into glass, etc. They can still "fly" with clipped wings, they just can't reach high altitudes. I'm more concerned about the one that is plucked bald in the chest area at the very end. Their "cage" looks immaculate though to decrease boredom.

  • Why does it have the wings cut?

  • Then you have never watched a parrot dance. What do you expect, the Samba?
