Does anyone have the Debbie Reynolds/Carleton Carpenter version of this song which was on the flip side of Abba Dabba Dabba which I used to have on an old 78?
I wonder where in America this was filmed and what the area looks like now. Sometimes when watching old flicks and noticing the name of a street or better yet two intersecting streets, I’ll look it up on Google to see how much it’s changed since they filmed there. I did that with the flick "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.” and the only thing that was still there was a small wall. Even though it might seem an odd thing to do, it's sort of fun and sometimes quite interesting. :o)o:
@crockyoshighty I have found that it was all filmed in and around the Los Angeles area. The part where Harold "juices" his jalopy with coke was filmed in Culver City.
well made film! the happy time before the Depression era generation ruined everything. the dull grey suit and dull grey mind has tainted north america ever since. bring back the colorful life of the 1920's i say! :)
@preservationhall01 as long as money=everything in america, there will be no motives genuine. money was the last reason harold lloyd did what he did. he was working for 5 dollars a day at one point in his life. Today, fame by any means is the goal, and you require no superior skills or talents to achieve it. reality television, for example.

Silent movies are awesome! I want to make one for my school's film festival, but it's not going to be easy.

As our free ideas become more and more subdued by political correctness and oppressive laws against free speech, we will never return to those days.
